Returned home yesterday from what is our probably our 10-12th trip to Playa Largo. We absolutely love this hotel. We are Platium Elite Marriott members and Playa Largo is one of our favorite hotels. Top among the reasons is the loyal employees we have come to love during each stay. Seeing so many familiar, welcoming faces when we arrive means so much to my husband and myself. Upon our arrival, we are always thrilled to see Rickoy’s smiling face as he greets us with a hug and cheerfully catches up with us since our last trip. We’ve been coming to playa Largo since 2018 and Riccoy and Judith at La Marea have been taking care of us the longest. It means so much to see so many familiar faces with each visit. We also love Armando and his attention to detail on the beach, making sure everything is pretty and in proper working order, always busy! We love Lazar at Sol by the sea for his kind, friendly demeanor, always going out of his way to make sure we are happy. Monte at Sol by the Sea is another employee we enjoy. So many lovely employees we have come to know at this beautiful resort is what makes staying here, for us, such a special experience.

Staff stole clothing and management covered it up and gave us the runaround. Do not go there! Refusal to provide straight answers while denying any responsibility with double talk. I do not really have anything else to add. Very disappointing and we will never be back.

Great Hotel , service was great . Loved the music from Gaby Gabriel and Milly . They were excellent. I will definitely come back . The food service and pool service was excellent. Spent an amazing evening relaxing having drinks and listening to the music played by Gaby Gabriel and Milly . Their music brought us back in time with wonderful memories

The resort was very well laid out. Depending on which of the four sports you visited for dinner, the service was just good/okay. As most resorts move to include the 20% gratuity on all tabs, I think it can reduce the quality of service. That being said, all the food for dinner was great. We both ended up getting food poisoning from breakfast which was not ideal.
The location of the resort is great. They have a beautiful piece of property. There were work conventions going on and our room faced a parking lot, so that could have been better. This was not a quiet resort. A couple large groups were getting pretty wild to the point that a manager asked us to let them know if we wanted them to call security. That wasn’t necessary, but good to know if you’re taking a family. I would probably stay here again but ask for a different room this time.

Beautiful views from the beach and pool. Hotel restaurant choices are a bit limited.

Very average and definitely overpriced for the "tired" condition of the hotel. Many little thing wrong or broken and mediocre service. Same for the food and the restaurant upkeep. Just okay and a little disappointing.
