Alexander's Guesthouse-Adult Exclusive, Lgbtq Friendly

We loved our time at Alexander's. From the beginning, they were very accommodating. We were lucky that our room was ready early and they took us right up made us feel at home, especially with a nice welcome cocktail by the pool. The staff were always friendly and helpful. They give us many great tour and restaurant recommendations and were always offering to help in anyway they could. Tim was always checking on us to see if we needed anything, and the bartenders (Zona and Krishna (sp?)) also made sure that we were well cared for and had all we need. They were all fun to talk with. We rented bikes for several days directly from the hotel (highly recommend) and they offered us all of the beach equipment we needed: towels, beach chairs, and a cooler. The last day just before our flight out we were caught in a sudden rain storm (Key West!) and they offered to dry our clothes, and also offered towels and a shower - it was really more than we could have expected. We were lucky to stay in the apartment, which is just as it is named - a three room suite with an outside day bed, but all of the rooms were very nice, luxurious and well-appointed, even the smallest ones. Everything was very clean, and we noticed they were constantly cleaning the facility and making sure the pool was clean and chemically balanced. The water is a perfect temperature, and the hot tub is nice to use at night. Many different places to sun yourself, or you can stay in the shade while outside. Breakfast was a relaxed, very social affair, and was continental style but with one hot entree (usually involving eggs). The bar opens around 10 and closes around 7, although closing hours aren't exact. They have a wide selection of drinks, soft drinks and even coffee. We definitely recommend the drink package - for $60/room, it's unlimited top shelf and easily pays for itself, even if you drink only moderately. Overall, the place is very quiet and secluded; a nice place to return to after being out among people and parties. The room rates seemed very reasonable for all you get in return.

Roman and the whole staff were lovely and so helpful. This was a cute, quiet, and relaxing escape in the Keys. The champagne waiting for us was a sweet touch.

Our second time visiting Alexander’s and it was just wonderful. Great service and everyone is so kind and helpful. Great breakfast and the happy hour is so awesome. Loved how relaxing it was by the pool great atmosphere. Our room 15 was so amazing, comfortable and had all the amenities.Truly great stay.

Great place with great overall experience! I really enjoyed Key West and Alexander’s didn’t disappoint! The price was great. Location was perfect. Easy to get around too.

Front desk staff was simply amazing, breakfast time was most enjoyable since Paula was so great. The room was amazing and clean. I will be back.
