The Reach Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton

The hotel was great, clean and with all the necessary. The service at the restaurant was rather slow. The main remark relates to lack of clarity from Trip and the hotel on added costs: valet parking is "mandatory" as the hotel doesn't allow guests to self park. This comes at a (hidden) cost of 50 usd per day plus taxes. The manager didn't mention this when we asked about the big deposit they were taking on our credit card. Unfortunate surprise contrasting with the wonderful time we had at the hotel.

Great location

I have traveled extensively and I must say, the server at the pool/beach, Stephanie, was THE BEST I have EVER had! She felt like family by the time we left! Thank you Stephanie so much for your kindness, your promptness, and just being so damn sweet! We’ll never forget you!!!!

Superb place to stay in Key West. We had connecting rooms for the three of us, which gave us plenty of space. It’s also a great hotel when travelling with kids, especially with the spacious rooms and family-friendly pool area. Parking is across the street and felt perfectly safe. You don’t really need a car while staying in Key West anyway, so we just left it there during our stay. The hotel is close to everything you need in Key West. The outdoor area is lovely, with two large pools, one of which I believe is adults-only. We always stayed on the family side anyway. We only had breakfast and the occasional lunch, snack or pizza at the hotel, but everything we tried was good. There’s plenty of choice for drinks at the bars as well. Barefoot Billy’s is located right on the premises and offers several activities. I did their jet ski tour, which was really cool and definitely a must-do. My wife did the snorkelling tour and really enjoyed that as well. The only downside during our stay was the intense heat outside, but obviously the hotel can’t do much about that! The rooms were nice and cool, so it was always comfortable inside. It certainly isn’t cheap, but Key West isn’t exactly a cheap destination either. Overall, a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.
