The Capitana Key West

Room is very clean and spacious. Prices are good. And I met an employee with the name VT at the tiki bar, very respectful and gentleman.

This was our 2nd stay here with our college kids. It’s a great hotel in Key West! We hung out all day long at the pool, hot tub, sand/beach area, cabanas, and pool bar. Pretty bay view-very beachy feel. Played alot of cornhole! . We LOVED the bar staff-Ryan, VK, 2nd Ryan, Aiden, and Riley. You all were so friendly and fun!! We stayed in a cottage again-absolutely recommend it for privacy and lay out. Claudia and Sam were superb at the front desk-they both helped us take care of some special arrangements. The hotel is pretty much the stand-alone destination due to its location, so plan on taking uber into town every night-only a short 10 minute ride. Breakfast set up was new-we liked it. Bar food was good, especially the fried pickles, but we missed having a few more seafood options. We’ll be back!!

Very nice location it was close to a lot of stores/ restaurants . The atmosphere was awesome! On every floor, there is a water station which is very good because it fulfills your late night thirst! Also the resort has 3 floors and a nice small shop with essentials. Rooms were perfect size to fit 3-4 people has tv, kitchen and decent size couch. Hotel was very clean . I see workers every time cleaning . Noise level was great! Slept very peacefully just some people chatting but overall great. Has a great pool and some mini games near the pool.

Stunning place, magnificent bayside views, Peaceful Exceptionally clean, lovely soft towels, comfy bed. Breakfast was really good, nice selection of hot and cold food. Duval street 40 mi walk or a quick Uber ride.

Smart modern hotel with nice pool and beach area. If we’d had a room with a view it would have been a 4 but very disappointed with our view being largely the rear of the Tiki Bar and air con units. Especially disappointing when that was the only outdoor dining area and it was booked out for a private wedding function on our arrival at 6:30pm after a long drive. Staff made every effort to organise something for us but it was on the open pool area and sadly the rain came so after a rushed meal in the lobby area we retired back to our balcony with our 9pm last drinks order to stare at the back of the tiki bar and listen to the party. This really shouldn’t have been a surprise after booking a hotel where a covered balcony with view of ocean was a main criteria. Very small fitness suite was always full when I went. Breakfast was quite OK with different offerings each day but when you have kids that loved the pancakes on day 1 then never see any again it’s a problem. If it hadn’t been in the rate we’d definitely have gone across to Denny’s. Spa pool water temp was always tepid. Tour tram stop opposite hotel is a good thing. Uber/Lyft to town quick and easy $12-14 each way. Very good in many other respects, staff, pool, parking, grounds immaculate, so I’m still giving a 3 and if you win in the balcony lucky dip it’s a 4.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was very spacious with a nice balcony that overlooked the pool, and it was SUPER clean. The pool was beautiful and there were always plenty of lounge chairs available. The extra perks of this hotel are the free parking and the free bottled water. It also had free breakfast, but both days we had to be somewhere in the morning so we didn’t get a chance to check it out. This hotel also has a sandy beach area.
