Surya hotel is located few step away from the famous temples and walkable distance form other groups of temples that exist around. Location is really perfect - there are kiosks and restaurants all around, and, comparing to other big hotels, you do not need to hire driver to enjoy your evening in the central spot.
Hotel is clean and neat. It is old school style, but very cute an cozy, with ***y figures, old paintings and books. For those who prefers the modern vibe this is not an option. But for those who enjoys Indian style, local crafts and designs this is the best.
Hotel has a great inner garden, with beautiful flowers and breakfast served right there. Chefs are quite famous locally but prices for the food is super reasonable, cheaper than in fancy central cafes. Recommended!
Rooms are clean, hot water, Internet and all other facilities re provided and functioning perfectly. And, most importantly, the team is very nice, kind and caring people. They know their business and help tourists with no lie or hidden schemes. This is nice.

The advantage of this establishment is only its location. An overrated establishment. And whose prices are excessive. This is an establishment with no standing. This is a kingsize room, located on the 1st floor with a view of the garden. The volume is spacious. The room has an attached bathroom. The bedroom is equipped with a dressing room, 2 bedside tables, a kettle and a flat screen. The whole thing is outdated and extremely clean. The mattress is comfortable. The bed linen is clean. The maintenance of the room and its furniture deserves more attention, or even a major restoration. The bathroom is basic. It is equipped with a bathtub and shower (non-functional), a toilet, a sink, a mirror. Everything is outdated. Hot water is present. The bathroom linen is clean. It is supplied in quantity. The bathroom and its equipment deserve more maintenance or even replacements, restorations. The restaurant room is located on the ground floor. Possibility to eat in the garden. Breakfasts can be continental or local. They are made from current, very mid-range products. Hygiene is questionable and excessive prices contain the quality of the preparations. I recommend checking the bill. The staff is so professional and their hygiene is unbecoming. Unable to pay by credit card. Cash is taxed. No wifi. I do not recommend this establishment.

Hotel Khajuraho is a beautiful hotel situated very close to the Western Group of Temples. The rooms and the hotel grounds are well kept, and maintained thoroughly. They give ample importance to cleanliness round the clock. The rooms and the bathroom, the bedsheets , balcony all were neat and clean. They provided us with hot water in the morning as well as at night. The garden area and the Garden View Restaurant provides good and healthy food, however the waiting time is a little more than average hotels, as they prepare the food after the order is placed. Room service is also available. The staff is pretty cooperative and helpful. It is a spacious hotel with a beautiful garden, where one can spend the evenings or mornings at leisure. Overall, I really felt at home during my stay at Khajuraho and Mr. Nitin Jain was really helpful in every way, during my stay at Hotel Surya.
