Good value for money, but the view on Khanom beach is not fantastic: the hotel is located not far from the Khanom fishing port (dirty) and in front of the sand quarry with trans-shipment pier. The room is well decorated (renovated), new and nice furnitures, modern style. Mattress is too soft/smooth. The problem is the bathroom, very to basic and casual regarding the style/upset of the bedroom : no toilet plan, no separation between WC and shower, basic plastic furnitures, not enough handlers for towels, etc.
The closest coffee & bar "Rim Lay" is the very nice place, awesome wood and bamboo deco, good ambiance and vibes.

The bungalow that we were assigned to (5) was the furthest away from the reception and the beach but that was a blessing of sorts because the "beachfront" bungalows no longer have a beach view due to the Rim Lay cafe and bar (beautiful bamboo building) is built directly in front of them.
Our room had a lot of gecko droppings on that we had housekeeping come to clean up. The geckos get inside the room via the cable trunking for the satellite TV, I think.
The room itself was super cute and newly renovated. Bed was soft and comfy. TV was a smart tv and HUGE! Housekeeping replaced all minibar items daily.
Breakfast had to be pre-ordered the day before (not sure if it's a low season thing). For me, the jok or rice porridge with pork was fine but I wouldn't want to eat it more than 2 times in a row. The biryani and the fried chicken with sticky rice options were not appetizing, unfortunately.
Do note there are 3 bars around the resort. The Rim Lay is the newest and not yet open for business. When it does, I believe in high season this place will become packed with drinkers (hopefully of the mellow kind, but who knows). Right now in low season (July) there was hardly anybody around the bars were mostly quiet and deserted.

Thank you very much to this place, they checked us in early, the room was clean, the shower had good water pressure, the staff was friendly, the Thai style breakfast was very tasty and filling, the music did not interfere. The sea is great right next door. We will come back!
