Best Hotels near Laem Prathap Beach, Khanom

Newly opened hotel, beautiful as described, lovely staff The suite's bathtub is very large, comfortable to soak in, but takes a long time to turn on the water according to the size of the tub. There are pump bottles of soap and shampoo provided. There is no shower cap, comb, cotton swab. The accommodation is next to the Ao Khanom Seafood restaurant. You can order to eat in your room. It's convenient. There are kayaks for free paddling. But on the day we went the waves were secretly strong. So I didn't use the service.

Saw a lot of not-so-good reviews in 2018, yet we still decided to give it a try. On arrival, check in process was smooth and easy, the lady was very helpful. The beach and pool view from our room was breathtaking. Love the idea of being able to lie on the soft comfy bed to enjoy the scenic view and the sunrise. The room was big, the bed and pillows were soft, clean and comfortable. The air-con was cold and the water heater was warm. There was a one-door fridge to store the drinks we bought. The bathroom was big, with a shower, a bathtub that was facing the beach. We stayed for 2 nights. 1st breakfast was ala carte and we both ordered American Breakfast, we enjoyed it and especially love the pineapple jam. 2nd day breakfast was buffet style, other than the American breakfast, they also serve salad, chicken porridge, soup and fried rice. Nothing special but all taste good and you would want to take again and again. Having said so, there are things to improve. There were two flies and some black ants in our room that welcome us. Those flies were quite disturbing. The beach was not clean with trash and the sand was mixed with lots of broken shells making the the stroll on the beach a little unpleasant. The swimming pool was cleaned in the morning but towards afternoon it became dirty again even though there was a filter to clean from time to time. In conclusion, this was a very pleasant stay for us and I am looking forward to visit again. Staying here was a real and great experience to relax and rejuvenate.

Kanon itself has no tourists, let alone Chinese tourists, so it is very quiet. There are very few people on the beach, almost a private beach. Highly recommended for those who want peace and quiet. The disadvantage is that it is inconvenient, there are almost no restaurants around, and the convenience store also needs a five-kilometer road. You can ask the hotel to call a car or rent a motorcycle to go there. The hotel itself has a private beach and restaurants, which are all good. The only thing is that the room is a bit poor, dirty and full of insects. You have to keep the curtains closed all day during the day, otherwise you can see the inside from the outside, and the privacy is poor. Only four bottles of water are provided every day, and there is a charge for more. The spa is also average and the price/performance ratio is not high. Generally speaking, the price is acceptable, but I hope it can be cleaner.

The room is beautiful and luxurious, looking exactly as described on the cover. Good service staff Good atmosphere, quiet, inexpensive price. Accommodation is about 2 kilometers from the sea, about 16 kilometers from Jay Dee Temple. Anyone looking for a place to stay near Sichon District, I recommend this place. We spent two wonderful weeks at this peaceful and luxurious resort. The whole resort appears new, including the bungalows, and everything is clean and nice. There is a nice pool area directly overlooking the beach. Wonderful staff that were very attentive to all our needs. Excellent breakfast made to order. The hotel restaurant must be one of the better restaurants in Khanom and deserves more guests. Normally we would have taken both lunch and dinner at one of the cheaper options along the beach, but we actually ended up having lunch in the hotel restaurant for the duration of our stay due to the tasty and high quality Thai dishes (we did not try any of the “Western” food on the menu) served here. We would love to come back to Wis Beach!

The room is clean. But the hotel is quite old. Compared to other accommodations at similar prices The staff provide good service. The location of the hotel is quite good, close to the beach, walk 20 steps. If the hotel is renovated to bring it back to life again. It should attract many more customers.

The resort is small and cozy, located by the beach and offers many kind of water sport. Kayak is complimentary for 1 hour, in which enough for me. We choose to stay on a new 3 stories building. Our room is on 2nd floor, big room with big balcony. The room offers nice design and functional. Breakfast could be better in the normal situation, as our breakfast was served as a set menu, you can choose to be served in your room or at the restaurant by the beach. You may also want to try sichon craft soda. Pizza is something you can't miss also the Krung Chae Nam Pla is very very delicious.

Our family were there in October’21 for 2 nights in 2BR & 1BR Beachfront pool villa. The property really nice and the beach really quite, only hotel guests there. Amenities and home appliances are high end with superb quality better than 5 stars property. Services from our villa butler was great even the hotel run by the local owner. Only negative comment was the beachfront villa not privacy, you have to exchanges it with the view which just only few steps to the beach. Our group also had dinner on the beach but taste just only so so.

The room is quite old. But the overall condition is still ok On the side of the sea But there is a way to go to the beach, overall okay, but not very luxurious.

Hospitality at Kahnom is top notch!! We came to Kahnom specifically for the pink dolphin tour but our initial reserved tour was cancelled two days in a row due to weather. We had a casual conversation with the owner Daniel, and the next thing we knew, he had reached out to a friend who could run the tour for us! It was such a surprise 🥹 the hotel itself is directly accessible to the beach with benches and seats available to sit and relax at night. Music playlist was also great and chill. Staff were sweethearts. The entire experience was great! 11/10 would visit again!
