My family and I had such a great blast at ***go huts, that it is hard to describe them in words. Everything was perfect, and it is difficult to find any faults. The cook, was mind boggling, the home made tasty food, wow. the attendants were so courteous, that I never felt like leaving the place. above all rakesh kamble the ***ager, was so friendly and helpful, great!! incidentally he is a photographer, and he clicked such wonderful photos, that the visit will remain in my memory for ever. the bungalow is tidy and the whole surrounding is peaceful. Monsoon and winter would be ideal time to visit. Summer is not bad either, you can pluck the ***goes from the trees and that could be a great attraction for the summer. Strongly recommend, the place, particularly if you enjoy home made, well prepared food and looking to click some mind boggling photos

Beautiful location, lovely cottages. Very neat & tidy, large, airy, well kept rooms. It was raining all the time, which made the stay even more pleasant in the middle of nature. The food served was delicious, hygienic and full of flavor. Some of the best chicken, fish & daal chawal I've eaten in a long time, were on this trip. The Uddhar Waterfalls were close by (2-3 kms), and were in its full glory. It was an adventurous little trek to reach the falls, but it was absolutely worth it. The staff was so helpful & considerate that they followed us all the way to the falls to make sure we don't get lost (which we actually did). Overall a very nice, relaxing break with some awesome food, great company and very helpful and sweet staff.

***go Huts is positioned as a rustic farm stay, priced equivalent to luxury property but alas, the experience you get is that of a very average farm outing. Before we point out all that irked us, we do admit that the location is fantastic. It’s verdant. A bubbling river stream by the cottage gives you the perfect “switch off from work” mood. But the issues we had - Less than clean bathrooms. Upkeep is poor, the shower curtains look like they’ve never been washed or changed in a lifetime - Accumulated dust on furniture, inside wardrobes - you just don’t want to unpack - A disgusting fridge in the kitchen that’s never been defrosted. We were greeted by a half eaten cake, a half empty beer bottle in the fridge - Cheap, very cheap serve ware. From plates, bowls to mugs for tea/ coffee. Plastic all over. And not even very good quality plastic. Bucolic farm stay you said ? One could wipe off a layer of grease from a washed plastic plate with a tissue. - The gazebos are furnished with old wooden beds. I can’t imagine how a large group of people is expected to socialise/talk while sitting on bare wooden beds ? We ended up perching ourselves up on the beds and crossing our legs to be able to see each other and talk yo each other. With our glasses and bottles in our hands. Funny and very uncomfortable. - Staff is kind and very hospitable. Saffron stays should however have trained them better. For this price and upkeep, this property is a bad bargain. Perhaps it’s been opened for visitors way before it was ready.

Let me start by saying seven foodies ( including my 12 year old daughter) visited ***go Hut by the river for two nights during summer. It was an amazing stay. Cottage, bedrooms, washrooms were very clean. Pool is not very large but very clean and hygienic. They have board games, carrom board, badminton court and rackets. River just just a minute away from the cottage, We enjoyed a walk by the river. The highlight was eating fresh Jammu from the tree, we were also given some ***goes and Jammu to take home. Rakesh, Mayuri Taai, Bhaskar, Suresh and maushi ensured our stay was comfortable. Mayuri Taai is an amazing cook, both veg and non veg were cooked to perfection, she is always smiling and spontaneous. Her love for cooking reflects in every dish she made. Rakesh was always available and ensured all our request were taken care of. In all a great stay because of the place and people. In all a lovely gateway.

Spent a night with cousins in this lovely place and the most difficult part was to leave this quaint place …serenity at its supreme best!3 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms structure Nestled in amazing greenery ***** side river ,what more one wish for when you actually wish to have your own time away from city life and far from hustle and bustle. Tastefully done vilas with antique furnitures from South ,amazing paintings all over ,four gazebos in between gives a different feel and touch .Last but not the least food ,home cooked lip smacking food and veggies used are a fresh produce which are grown right there .The cook is outstanding and very accommodative,Maharastrian food is her specialty,Ukadiche modak ,a desert is a must .Other support staff are also very hospitable,Mr Rakesh is there who is very friendly and there for all your needs . In short Home away from Home . Only important thing to note ,if you are addicted to phone and can’t live without it then you have a problem coz this place is pure ecological paradise with no mobile network. And I would take every opportunity to visit this again and again .

Our family chose this stay, 27 thru 29 August, to mark Wedding Anniversary of the Parents, that's us. The simple charm of premises and down to earth attitude of the staff made us feel homely. Please make this good vacation option, more pocket friendly to induce guests to stay longer!
