A wonderful place to stay in the beautiful nature of Khao Sok. The place is next to a river and the mountains, with lots of beautiful plants and interesting animals, including monkeys that visit the area every day. It's eco-friendly and super cool! It reminded me of a safari lodge in Africa. Highly recommended!

During our stay we were met with numerous disappointments. Biggest of all was the dishonesty regarding extra costs, taxis that we were told would cost a set amount ended up costing twice as much because we weren’t told it was per person and didn’t include tax, excursions that we had to pay per person while not getting the value of what we had paid for and being unable to eat anywhere except at their restaurant because the main street was too far to walk to on our own. Furthermore, the location is nowhere near the Cheow Lan lake and when we asked at the reception to organize a hike there for us we were brought somewhere entirely different. Not to mention all the bugs and animals that lived in our room, the terrible coffee we had to preorder for some very odd reason and the cat that was held in a plastic bag. The worst part of our stay however was when we raised our concerns to the receptionist we were disrespected even further and were even threatened not to get the taxi we had already ordered the evening before.

Positive: - beautiful - great food - close to real nature/jungle animals Not so great: - zero possibilities to cool down: no airco, no fridge, no cold water, no swimming pool, the river is warm and at the reception no cold water to buy - the communication is really bad, because most staff do not speak English very well, much misunderstanding - of the package with activities we agreed upon months before and we really looked forward to, many things we did not do because they use other people or companies for Those and those people just did other things. We couldn’t make this clear with those people when this was happening, because their english was even worse. And in the end, we still had to pay for everything. That is not our greatest frustration, mainly just that we did not get to do Some things that we would really have liked to do.

Our Jungle House was an amazing experience within the beautiful area of Khao Sok National Park. Food was delicious and the staff very helpful. Accommodation really comfortable and even in the heat of April the fans were enough to keep cool of a night. The bees were pretty annoying at meal times that would be pretty much my only feedback otherwise it was a fantastic time. We did the overnight option to the lake which was stunning. The guide we had was really informative and had a great time.

A timeless place, in the middle of the jungle and on the banks of the river. The service is very kind. Lots of animals to observe in the spring. Watch out for the little thieving monkeys! Very good Thai dishes and more European dishes for picky children ;-) Great breakfast for all tastes! It is very very very hot and people suffering from the heat may have difficulty sleeping without air conditioning. But fans already do a lot of good! An unusual, exotic place, go for it!

Pleasant stay in Khao Sok: the treehouse without wifi with a fan and mosquito net for sleeping, the sounds of animals, we are in the jungle! The monkeys who come to visit us. The 3 days 2 nights package with day at the lake 2 dinners 2 breakfasts for €90 remains affordable especially as it is plentiful and delicious. On the other hand the excursion to the lake is mediocre more than an hour's drive then navigation on board a long tail with obligatory life jacket very dirty for more than 1 hour then visit to a cave then navigation then 20 min trek in the jungle without interest and with the guide who explained nothing at all and who didn't care fichait. The site for lunch and swimming very limited in terms of cleanliness, without charm and obligation to swim with the life jacket in a limited and closed perimeter (size of a swimming pool) as well as the kayak. Frustrating in view of the size of the lake. In addition, swimming in the place where all the long tails are in short like swimming in a port... then 1 hour of navigation and return. "Our jungle" would have to question the quality of their excursion which does not does not correspond to the description at all! Too bad a big discrepancy compared to the quality of the accommodation.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Our Jungle House, we travelled with 2 kids (6 & 8) and they loved it too. Whilst there we did canoeing, a half day trek, caves and raft, a visit to the elephant sanctuary, a day on the lake and a cooking course. All the trips were brilliantly organised and we loved them all. This was our highlight of all the places visited in Thailand. The Jungle House itself really immerses you into the jungle, we had monkeys on our roof, geckos everywhere and all the sounds of the jungle all night. The restaurant and bar are really reasonable and perfect to relax in all evening after busy days. I would recommend booking trips to fill your days as there isn't too much else to do on site.

Such a unique hotel experience for such a good price! The staff was great, the food at the restaurant was fantastic, booking tours with the hotel was so easy, and the rooms are amazing. We also stayed in the middle of the hot season but it cools down so much at night that we were very comfortable even though there's no air conditioning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!
