Soviet style hotel that has seen better days. Looks rundown & unloved. There is a pool that was not in use, half full of stale water. Decor is rather ugly. There is a terrace outside overlooking the uninspiring river where meals can be served. The indoor dining room is a part time disco. My room however was quite large with high ceilings & a comfortable bed. There is a big reasonably modern bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. But not much water & periodic hot water. The central aircon mainly blows out hot air. There is a substitute addition aircon unit which actually does work but there are no instructions in English on how to use it or the TV. Needed to ask for help from the front desk which was forthcoming. There are hundreds of TV channels if you can work out the system. Again no instructions. There is wifi which works well enough for emails. Breakfast which was included was pretty average with little choice and even less service.

The hotel was nice and adequate right on the river. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant overlooking the river and it was quite nice. The electrical outlets were difficult to manage due to locations and the connections with our equipment. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Проживали в данном отеле семьей по рекомендации друзей из Германии. Обслуживание и сам Отель не разочаровали . Отель практически новый , Мебель, сантехника, оборудование ещё не убитые. Имеется лифт , в отеле 5 этажей. Расположен в живописном месте, на берегу Сыр Дарьи недалеко от городского пляжа и старого моста . Номера тихие днем , соседей не слышно. Но иногда в вечернее время, когда в ресторане отеля проводятся торжества на улице играет музыка, ее хорошо слышно в номерах с видом на террасу и реку. Кого то это напрягает, кому это наоборот нравится репертуар разнообразный. Режим тишины не соблюдается. Иногда музыка звучит и в полночь. Отель популярный у европейцев, цена за сутки одна из самых высоких в городе. Но за эти деньги вы получаете хорошее обслуживание и оснащение номера. Номера огромные по площади , как и ванные комнаты. Имеются все необходимые гигиенические средства, халаты, тапочки, весы . Мебели в номере достаточно. Диваны, кресла, письменные столы, шкафы, тумбочки. Имеется телевизоры с различными спутниковыми каналами, но из за слабого сигнала, иногда трансляция прерывается. Освещения в номере достаточно , сенсорная панель управления светом . Небольшие холодильники ( совсем небольшие) в жаркие дни там трудно разместить напитки. Кондиционер - спаситель в летние , душные дни. В номере так же есть приборы для чая. Ежедневно предоставляется вода в бутылках. В стоимость номера входил континентальный завтрак. В общем голодными не останетесь есть молочные каши, сметана, творог, йогурты, фрукты, выпечка, колбасы, сыр, мёд , варенье, соки. Официанты немного не расторопные. То чай поздно принесут, то салфетки на стол не поставят и специи. Но в общем это дело опыта!!! В отеле ещё есть суши бар. И магазин с большим выбором спиртного, пива и соков. Ребята на ресепшене очень внимательные. Любая просьба , они всегда помогут. Территория небольшая, с террасами и выходом к реке. Есть несколько ротонд и беседки , бассейн. К сожалению бассейн платный для всех. Хотелось бы пожелать, владельцам отеля предоставлять эту услугу для проживающих в номерах бесплатно. Про дополнительные услуги отеля не узнавали. Видели велосипеды у главного входа, которые можно взять в аренду. В общем из всех отелей города нашей юности этот Отель пока на 1 месте. Будем советовать друзьям именно его.

Located by the river but there is some walk to the center. Practically nobody speaks any English. Spacious room. Tv has (in theory) around 800 satelite channels but only 10 are visible, none international. Shower was otherwise good but it was pulsating hot and cold water, and therefore it was either burning or freezing. Bed was too soft for my taste. A/C was good. Terrible bass drum noise outside at late evening. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10. We arrived there 7:05 since we had a little hurry forwards. There was nobody at the restaurant, no lights, nothing. We walked reception to ask where is breakfast. They guided us to the restsurant. When we said it was nobody there, someone came with us wundering where is everybody. It took some minutes still to make an order. At 7:25 we got our breakfast which was not very good.

What happens to this place really? Used to stay here regularly. At the most recent visit- Very unprofessional staff at check in/ weird selection of rooms / one with no window/ no a/c in +40 in Khujand - I wonder how these people remained in business .. avoid. Will be looking for alternatives
