Nice 3* hotel. It has everything you need in the room. No elevator but staff was helping with the suitcase, no issue for me. Breakfast was good

A small hotel in Punakha Bhutan . Rooms are very small but clean. The washrooms are clean and linen though old but washed clean. The staff is helpful. The breakfast had very limited choices and the food in the restaurant was not very appealing.

According to my view, the rooms are all more or less nosy as the hotel is located in the middle of town. In addition, also the bathroom was not clean, and I had the impression that they try just to save money with the level of service they provide. Thus, I decided to leave the hotel after one night. But the hotel management refused to credit the pre-payment regardless they requested for such one for two nights. For me as a Swiss customer, not understandable as it is also not standard practice in Bhutan. Overall, I do not understand how the hotel was able to get a 3-star rating.

I love this hotel! The staff is so friendly, respectful, and the food is excellent. I look forward to staying here again! The hotel is conveniently located near the riverside, and the monastery near the riverside is so peaceful!
