B&B HOTEL Kiel-City

The room was big enough but not really clean. The bathroom also smelled strongly of sewage. We brought this to the attention of reception and were told to just let the water run, which is not very sustainable. It also didn't help much and is not a modern solution.

Nonostante fosse un po’ spoglio e asettico, tutto era estremamente pulito e funzionante. Ottimo appoggio per crocieristi o per chi viaggia in treno. Non abbiamo aggiunto l’opzione colazione perché il prezzo ci è sembrato veramente esagerato.

Positiv: Kurze Fußentfernung zum Bahnhof. Zugang Haus (nachts) und Zimmer mit 6-stelligem Code einfach und praktisch. Negativ: Zimmerservice (Reinigung) nicht durchgehend optimal. Koffer-Abstell-Gestell fehlt. Nur offene Regale, kein Schrank.

Die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig der Vorhang hat Löcher ein abdunkeln ist nicht möglich , die Duschdichtung an der Duschtür fehlt, der Teppich ist dreckig und die Zimmer sind super hellhörig. Die Fenster sind dreckig und für die 4 Spurige Str nicht gut genug Isoliert, man hört jedes Auto vorbei fahren ( Zimmer im 3 Stock).

We have stayed in many B&B hotels and like the B&B standard - this hotel is the worst. Location and facilities: The air conditioning in room 211 could only heat (at 20°C outside temperature). At some point it was so warm in the room that we had to open the window. Unfortunately, the train station is very close by, where the station announcements announce arriving and departing trains every five minutes. We now know the timetable by heart. Service and cleanliness: We stayed in the hotel for three nights. We neither saw nor noticed/discovered any room service. We would have been very happy to have new, dry bath towels. Due to the lack of drying facilities and the lack of room service, we had to keep using the "old" ones. After one day, we ran out of toilet paper. Great, no room service. At reception they gave us two rolls, which we could then take to our room. Great. Breakfast: Normally, the chocolate spread is served in portions in small containers - here there is an open jar of Nutella with a spoon that everyone is supposed to poke around in. Very hygienic.
