Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas

Facing the challenges of everyday life we needed a break and we chose ANANTARA KIHAVAH MALDIVES VILLAS. Because of the little time we had we planned only 4 days in the over water pool villa which despite the weather that was not helpful it appeared to be one of the the most pleasant and pleasurable experiences in fact the strong winds and the rain did not prevent us to swim and to have the best of fun in the warm clear waters of KIHAVAH and the infinity pool of the villa, this place is like no other we were treated like kings starting from an early check in and late check out at 13:30 we felt really spoiled with delicious chocolate cake of celebration a free fruit platter every day on top of our half board we were upgraded to a sunset pool villa and even the dinner in sea restaurant that we experienced before was changed on our request we had to choose from the couples massage and a breakfast in the same under water restaurant which we choose at the end and it was an unforgettable experience the staff were super nice and welcoming along the whole trip from the lounge in MLE Airport all the way until we left I am not going to tell any name so I don’t forget any one simply Every one in customer service in restaurants and room service and even reservations over the phone every one did a stunning job with a lot of love and dedication to there job that is far from being easy We also enjoyed a session of yoga that was really amazing and relaxing a lot to say in such a short 4 days holiday thanks to everyone working hard behind the scenes contributing to make our journey so relaxing and unforgettable The price is certainly a bit expensive but totally worth it, if I have a single suggestion to this piece of paradise that will definitely improve the overall experience is to concider using their own sea plane or yacht for the transfer because Manta air is not reflecting the high standards of Anatara KIHAVAH despite the great expertise and professionalism of their pilots We are definitely recommending this beautiful place to any one who is willing to throw behind him all the stress and challenges of every day life and enjoy a sweet dream and let him self treated by this amazing staff

This resort is magnificent. It was our second time there and we still love it. It is very unpretentious and absolutely authentic. It fits much better to the Maldives than the luxurious, modern French and American resorts and the guests have lots of privacy. Our host, Maria, pampered and supported us in a fabulous way. Unfortunately, the management - besides the Chef - was not present at all. Two years ago that was completely different. The breakfast buffet is our favorite all over the world. Regarding the bungalows you should choose, if you prefer a wide beach and more wind (sunrise) or a narrow beach, less wind and some noise because of the seaplanes (sunset) which doesn't disturb much. There are also water bungalows but for swimming it's not ideal and to find some shadow there is difficult depending on which side you are staying. Water sports is very expensive but I guess, they don't want too much water traffic which is absolutely understandable. The reef has some beautiful parts, if you know where to snorkel. In case you are lucky, you will also encounter some turtles.

It was a very wonderful experience, even though the weather was rainy, but the trip was relaxing and calm. The resort is very elegant and beautiful, and Zidane’s service was more than excellent and wonderful. I am thinking of going there again with the children.

Ana amazing location that is simply perfected in so many ways. Expensive but worth it at the end as the experience in such a pristine location are timeless. Amazing staff, Harnie who made all the difference to Stephanie, Raj, and to the whole team specially the Hibachi master Attapon who made it very special for the family. The team was very accommodating and made sure an almost perfect location can provide a dream vacation. Looking forward to going back again and again. And thaks Maurice for the Book about Kihavah, it really is a nice story, and you made a new fan of the group

The trip was everything we dreamed it would be - obviously the property and the villa were stunning, but it's really the top notch customer service and high quality food that set this place apart for me. We would definitely return for our next trip to Maldives. Possible considerations: There were tons of children here - this resort is very family friendly. That was not a problem for us, in fact it inspires us to plan to take the kids on a future trip - but worth noting in my opinion.

The overall stay at Anantara Kihavah was a very pleasurable experience. From the food to the personnel, every aspect of the stay was well designed and fine-tuned by the hotel. Special praise goes to our personal caretaker Piyal, who helped us create the perfect holiday. He designed a carefully thought out arrangement of dinners as well as helping with every need we had. The staff were very hospitable and seemed genuine. The food was on par with the quality of the hotel and the diversity of restaurants was quite satisfactory. We ended our stay with an exploration of the cosmos, visiting the observatory on the island and getting a tour of the sky.
