Comfortable hotel, great food, great service especially from Dezlino. A gentleman 👍 Myself and my partner stayed with 5 other couples here for the cat laughs festival, handy location, easy to get in and out of town. Well stocked buffet breakfast in the mornings

The staff was amazing! We arrived in Kilkenny without a reservation during a Hurling match and a comedy festival, Theresa at the front desk made room for us 4 ladies and made us feel at home! We were very lucky! Jim Morgan of Kilkenny led us to the Hoban, we were lost and super lucky to meet Jim and Hoban receptionist Theresa. Dezlino and all the staff at the Hoban are amazing! Mahalo! We all had a very good stay at the Hoban hotel and specially a the barman Jonathan who has very amazing person and makes very nice drinks! All the best! Food was very nice and everything went very well! Thanks for everything and we would be back again soon

Lovely 2 night stay, hotel is just outside city and a quick car ride to centre of town, room was great and really clean with all the necessary amenities, staff were very helpful and friendly. Jonathan was our server at dinner and he was very friendly and attentive, we had an enjoyable chat with him and he was always checking in with us.

The Hoban Hotel is lovely and the room was clean and well serviced. Welcoming staff, who were super friendly. Delzino made us feel very welcome. Great Irish breakfast and coffee. Amazing stay all round, would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel as we had a wedding to attend in Kilkenny city centre. The Hoban Hotel didn't disappoint us. We had the most comfortable bedroom, spacious, clean and modern. Very friendly staff with exceptional professionalism. A gorgeous breakfast with a great variety of options in a very contemporary space. This hotel was unbelievable value for money. Overall, I will be back to stay at the Hoban again. Thank you so much for making our stay an absolute pleasure.

Lovely hotel and great staff! Dezlino was a great bartender; super friendly and welcoming. Rooms are pretty big, comfortable bed, nice shower decent closet space. The 1801 restaurant was delicious! We had breakfast and dinner here multiple times and were never disappointed. It’s an easy 10 minute drive to the city center

Beautiful hotel, clean welcoming and cosy. Really impressed as it is one of the best priced hotels around. The restaurant staff were very good but the receptionist Theresa was fantastic. I had spoke with her on the phone previously and she remembered our conversation on check in. So helpful, attentive efficient and friendly really well done to her. Would definitely return here

I recently dined at the restaurant of the Hoban Hotel and had a great experience with thanks to one of the waiters, Dez. He was welcoming, attentive and friendly which truly enhanced our evening. Also, highly recommend the goats cheese Tarlet!
