We had the pleasure of dinning in the hotel's restaurant. We took two mains which were good, & reasonable sized portion. Price was average in line with either establishments close by. Staff was friendly and efficient. On the whole, if in town I would most likely have the pleasure of selecting this restaurant again.

Outstanding service and food from start to finish. Celebrating family gathering and all were catered for, would highly recommend the Club House for all family gatherings. Thanks again for a lovely day. Menu had lots of choice as some have dietary requirements. All happy!!

Es ist ein alter Ansicht wunderschönes Hotel von 1791. Leider war das Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad war mit Stockflecken übersät. Frühstück war gut . Das Personal sehr freundlich und direkt hinter dem Hotel kann geparkt werden.

This hotel is beyond needing a deep clean. The room and other areas were dirty. Breakfast was average at best. Received a scone which was microwaved and Rick hard in the centre. The waitress advised she could/would not inform the kitchen of same because the staff were too disagreeable. Towels are extremely old and small. Requested a bath sheet and was later ridiculed by a receptionist for same (I’m not the largest but I have battled cancer twice and due to treatment I’m bloated and sought the larger towel for comfort). We would not stay here again nor would we recommend it to anyone.

Went to Kilkenny for the weekend in late February 2024 so we needed a reasonably priced place to stay for a two nights. The location is 2 minutes from the castle and the staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for our needs and there was free car parking which was appreciated. Thanks so much !
