Renovation was not outdated / pretty new, it seems the renovation was just completed not long ago.
Check in is using self-service machine.
The double room was spacious.
Breakfast buffet was good; it'd be better to have tomatoes as a hot item.

The hotel is next to the carousel, you need to be patient to find it, the parking lot is quite big; the service staff are very enthusiastic; the breakfast is okay; the Internet is not very good, remember to ask the waiter for a password, if you don't have a password, you can connect, but you can't use it

My Ex wife was unexpectedly admitted to the local hospital which is literally less than a mile up the road. Hence the choice rather than Premier Inn or Travelodge. It also looked more appealing when I looked at it on line before booking. Very pleased with my choice.

This could be a great hotel but sadly we had to keep complaining to the staff who were wonderful, lovely, but have no back up from management. 1) we got to the room and the table lamp did not work. I took it to reception and they had no spare bulbs. The lovely receptionist finally borrowed another table lamp from the restaurant for us but why oh why was there no maintenance man on duty or spare light bulbs. 2) My wife looked under the desk and there was lots of rubbish, including shards of sharp plastic and a toe nail. Inexcusable. We called reception and she came and took pictures and said she would get it cleaned the next day. When we got back to the room the following afternoon the mess had been cleared up but not another thing had been done to the room. It had not been serviced. 3) The breakfast was awful, the scrambled egg was hard, dry and overcooked. The white bread, when toasted was soggy. It could all be so much better with not a lot of effort. We would not stay there again or recommend it.
