Great place to stay in Kingman. One of the originals on the “Mother Road”. The owners had done some great renovations to make it a really nice place to stay!

The Rambling Rose is on Route 66 in Kingman, AZ. It has the feel of a classic family-run Route 66 Motel. We booked it over the phone and got a room for $60. The check in was very efficient. It is a two-story hotel so specify floor if you have a preference. There is plenty of off-street free parking with room for larger vehicles. We had a room with a comfortable queen size bed (but only 2 pillows). The room included a table with 2 chairs, coffeemaker, microwave, and mini fridge with freezer section. There is a free easily accessible reliable ice machine outside. It had a small bathroom all contained with shower stall only. There was a big walk-in closet and a large bureau with multiple drawers. There was free reliable internet service. There was some street noise and train noise, but both died down at night. It was fairly quiet overall. It is right on Route 66 and walkable to a number of local sites including the popular Mr. D's Diner. It is a short drive to other restaurants and conveniences. Kingman is a great launching point for visitors heading to the Grand Canyon West.

The room was very clean. Good bed and good tv.
The trains are a little noisy for light sleepers like us. Great price and good value overall

Pros: low price, comfortable bed, friendly staff
Cons: Next to a busy street and busy railroad tracks, no soap/shampoo in room when I checked in, thermostat on heater not working correctly.

Basic motel with the basics. Very clean and remodeled bathroom/shower, very comfy bed, great tv, good location, personable owners, drive up to the door, clean parking lot, nice towels & coffee in the room. Would recommend (and the price was perfect as well).

Chambres vieillottes, propreté assez moyenne, assez bruyant car route juste devant et chemin de fer en face. Proximité avec plusieurs restaurants. Le gérant est très sympathique. Hôtel juste bien pour une nuit quand on s’engage sur la route 66.

Very nice and very clean inside and outside. Beautiful view. Love to stay at older motels for it brings back childhood memories.
