A very nice hotel with a combination of old and new buildings. Best location and view for hotel in Kangaroo Island. The only let down is the quality of bed and pillow.

Kingscote is a great location to get around the island. The accommodation was clean with helpful and friendly staff. Stunning view from the restaurant.

The hotel is well-situated, rooms clean and roomy. Unfortunately the walls are thin, so we heard a lot from people staying above us and next door.. Bars close quite early.

The hotel and staff were great, recommend for a good holiday base. Room had everything we needed. The restaurant could better utilize the local produce and flavours, and was overpriced compared to the food available at nearby eateries.

Panoramic views of the foreshore and stunning sunrise. A pleasant and comfortable stay. Friendly staff and supportive in fixing room allocation in no time at all. Private balcony with table and chairs overlooking the bay is a nice place to relax after a day's exploration of the island. A real plus is proximity and short walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurant, supermart, bakery, tidal pool and other services. Petrol stations are just a few minutes drive. Parking is off-street only and next door to the bottle shop. No lifts on the heritage site.
