What a lovely visit! Beautiful, great service, "quiet" (waterfall is loud butvthats awesome), quirky, and we loved it! The proberty has some ongoing projects so be prepared to go over the gravel pile and past construction, but beyond all that is magical. The mountain and the driveway are hard going, but that's the case in Jamaica overall, and this is no exception. Have 4 wheel drive and drive carefully, and it's all cool.

I just returned from spending 2 nights at Rafjam. I highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvinating experience. Susan and her team are exceptionally nice and welcoming. I was treated like family. The grounds are beautiful and lots of greenery. There is a river and waterfall on the property. The room was spotless clean. There's an onsite restaurant with delicious food. I also ordered natural beetroot juice everyday.

Quiet, secluded location, beautiful surroundings, terrific food, thoughtful staff and clean facilities. The facility is being built a section at a time and has a homey, handmade feel. Rooms are named, not numbered, and are themed (the Africa Room, the M.C. Escher Room, etc.) Rooms are spacious, comfortable and imaginatively decorated. Facilities include a spacious lounge, generous outdoor seating and a full self-service bar. The property includes several footpaths, including one to a waterfall. Highly recommended. The only challenge is getting there!

I have been visiting Rafjam since 2020. It my home away from home. Any time I need to destress I just run away to the hills. It has a river and waterfall that you can dip in, as well as beautiful grounds. There is normally a chef on property so you can eat after taking a dip. For this trip, I just stayed for a few hours. If you are a lover of nature and rustic ambiance , its great place to stay.

This gem of a place is run by a wonderful lady called Susan and her crew. We discovered Rafjams b&b, on our adventures in Irish Town, and hiked up (and down!) From nearby Strawberry Hill. We were welcomed into this rainforest paradise garden, complete with a cool, original and quirky laid back vibe. Whilst we sat in awe of the beautifully wild but well looked after landscape, we melted into the atmosphere, listening to awesome tunes and perusing a lunch menu that challenged all our choice making skills! Chef Warberton cooked us a feast, to order, which was totally worth the wait. Local dishes with a twist that we will remember for ever. The most delectable salt fish and ackee (if you never tried it - you haven't lived) on plantain bruscetta, followed by the sweetest of goat curry and tastiest snapper escovitch- EVER. We didn't stay over, but met some incredibly friendly and clearly happy residents! After our feast we explored Susan's historic tropical landscape, dotted with hidden pathways, quaint waterfalls, crystal clear waters. This garden is not guided or signposted, nor are there information posts- because this place is a place where you chose youre own path, making it a superb 'off the beaten track' original back to nature experience. We sat on ancient rock, listened to water falling and watched humming birds tending nests. You don't just visit this garden, it sort of 'happens to you'.

Honestly the place is just wow, if you want peace of mind, book your weekend. The host is such a sweetheart she let you feel like family. The property have 2 rivers if you are a person that love water. The room I stayed in is called the Cave , I can recommend that one. Wi-Fi is on the property, there is Netflix on the tv , there is just so much to say, I will be gone back this year.

Rafjam is an oasis. The terrain to get there is daunting (but don't worry, they provide shuttle if you, like myself, don't do daunting terrain) however, when my friends and I arrived at the spot, it was so worth it. Indeed the villa's location adds to the mystique, the privacy, the rustic nature. There are multiple rivers on the property, a gorgeous waterfall nearby (we had tremendous fun there). We were enveloped by the sounds of nature, greenery and rivers for our entire weekend. There are also great hiking paths nearby and my friends and I hiked to a river. The trail was so beautiful we couldn't stop making pics. The rooms are another delight, you can stay on the main house or off the main house in a cottage or theme designed villas. Some of the cottages are built around huge slabs of rock which just makes them more rustic and engaging. The proprietor, Sue, goes all out to ensure you have an experience like none other. From ensuring the rooms are tip top, meals are tasty and hot, she partied with my friends and I (it was my birthday weekend) and even acted as a tour guide for our hike to the river. She knew it was my birthday weekend and she went all out to make it memorable for me, family and friends. She went above and beyond. To know her is to love her. If you love nature, this is a must see nestled in the hills of St. Andrew Jamaica, not too far from the city but far enough to stumble upon another world, a nature's paradise! We loved it!!!!

My experience was one in a million. The ambiance, food, river, and hospitality feel like home. It's a secret getaway place that everyone should go to. Susan the owner was like a long-time family that everyone should have. I will go back there.
