Courtleigh Hotel & Suites

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! We were there for a lacrosse tournament, and hotel was fully booked! Our room was clean and tidy, bathroom was very nice and bed so comfy! The house keeping team did a great job everyday. I loved the boutique vibe of this hotel. Quiet and cute! Decor was lovely, and staff was attentive. We had some awesome bartenders who took great care of us at mingles and the pool bar. Food was also very tasty on property! Very nice breakfast buffet too. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you find yourself heading to Kingston!

Our flight was late and we got to the hotel sometime after 9 pm. when we reached the hotel, the hotel staff advised us that they had computer problems and could not check us in. We waited over 1 hour to find out that they had given away our reservation. We tried to get something to eat while the hotel staff tried to find us another room, but the kitchen closed at 10 pm and we were very hungry. They tried to accommodate us and let us order 2 salads to go which took 30-45 mins. When we finally got our salads and we also got notice that they found us a room for the night. When we got to our room, it was very nice. They gave us the executive suite for the night which eased my dissatisfaction in their service for the night. The next day, I asked if we could stay in the Executive suite for the rest of my stay without any additional cost since they could not find us another room as i had originally booked. they agreed and my aunt and i had a great time for 1 full day. On our 3rd day when we returned back to the hotel room after being out the full day, we noticed load machine like sound coming from the room since we were on the 10th floor. Then we notice the sofa seat was wet and water on the floor. Then we noticed water coming from the ceiling running down from the ceiling down the wall and over by the living area and by the bar area. It was crazy. I had to call the front desk and report it. They sent up someone to evaluate and then when they saw it, they called the manager or engineer to take a look. It appears that work was being done on the roof and the water came down into the suite and made a mess of the furniture and floor. The engineer apologized for the inconvenience but and then left. We were left in the room with water all over the floor and unable to use the living room. We ended up having to call the front desk to have then send someone to clean up the water on the floor and on the furniture. We ended up eating in our bedrooms. When we checked out, i mentioned to the hotel staff about the inconvenience we had with the water and the staff was sympathetic but no apologies or offer to give a discount or anything. I decided i would not return to this hotel again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with the experience we had.

The first room wasn't what I was use to because I have been staying here for years but yesterday I was upgraded to a suite room this will blow your mind away and also the rate was adjusted very dramatically so I have booked another 3 nights very happy at the moment

Lascelles the front desk bell man he’s so awesome helpful friendly kind. I love the rooms Also the poolside. The location of the hotel is good. I would recommend everyone to come to this hotel in Jamaica Kingston. Lasclles show me and my family around this beautiful hotel. I will be back thank you lascelles for making my day

I normally stay at the Pegasus while in Kingston, but on this trip I decided to visit its boutique sister property the Courtleigh - and I was not disappointed. Boutique in its nature means small, intimate and personable and the Courtleigh was a complete delight. The service was impeccable and ever present though not in your face. The service team anticipated my needs and delivered efficiently - and always with a smile that was genuine. Breakfast possibly the hardest meal to deliver effectively was nothing but superb and the food was hot and delicious. What struck me most was the general aura of the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely happy performing their craft and took ownership for making sure my stay was memorable. Definitely an overall 5 star experience. My trip coincided with the Pegasus’ Tuesday Night on the Grill so I ventured over for that. That event is a must for anyone visiting Kingston on a Tuesday. They have redesigned the entire pool area and it will not disappoint. Excellent!!

Staff very friendly at checkin. Immediately upgraded to a suite. Only downside was not having a coffee maker in the room. Restaurant had great menu selections. Bar at poolside provided several selections of tea at our requests. Would highly recommend this place.

Excellent service and staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my staff which was very relaxing. The food was also superb. The bar service was really good as well. You won't be disappointed with your stay at this location. Expect everything to be on target.

Lascelles was an excellent staff who was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were great and the food was tasty. The location was very convenient and Lascelles was great in his communication style as he helped us navigate through Kingston.
