I stayed here 2nd of April for 1 night with 2 others, to visit Hull university across the road the next morning. On arrival I parked the car after a 3 hour drive! As soon as we walked in, we received a warm welcome and the guy asked if we parked in the car park. I said yes and he confirmed parking was paid until the evening of 3rd April. The rooms were clean, nothing special but not horrible. A couple of things I noticed were the wall lights didn’t match and they were crooked, and also the headboards weren’t good, but bedding was lovely and fresh. Breakfast was good and the guy serving was buzzing around making sure everyone had what they needed. Yes, accommodation is old, creaky but also quirky! It does deserve a bit of love and care and a little refurb? Prime location for uni visits.
