The accommodation was basic and clean. The breakfast was amazing. The disappointing thing was the picture on the website has been taken many years ago and the shower wouldn't work in our room, there was loose skirting board and when we flushed the toilet it put water up the shower outlet.

We went looking for an eat-in restaurant for dinner. There are plenty if take aways but the only restaurant listed on Google maps was closed. After exploring we were resigned to asking a pub landlord if we could bring a take away in. Then we spotted this one small hanging sign for Paul Arthur's Restaurant and Rooms. What a bit of luck, excellent food and really friendly service. Only moan would be the chairs are wooden and hard. They have a marketing problem. The're not on Google maps and if you search TripAdvisor for restaurants they don't come up as they are listed as a b&b.

Great place to spend some nights .... Paul has it set up very well , also does amazing work in the Kitchen . All around a great experience there. I would recommend Pauls to anyone!

Not much to look at as you drive up, Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very nice, lovely food and staff and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was very nice and cooked to order. Room was basic but clean and warm.

This place needs a lot of work done to it. The carpet was worn thread bare and dirty. The garden wasn't kept up either. The room was basic. It did have a coffee maker, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good.
