ITALIAN Night at The Garrett. Starters of sambuca king prawns/ deep fried arancini . They were amazing then flat iron steak / tagliatelle tender stem broc. All the food was delicious, sauces packed with flavour! Great portions! Cant wait for the next theme night!

We had a great stay at the Garrett, looked after perfectly by Missy and her team. Room was freshly decorated and very comfortable, food at dinner was excellent with lots of choice and we had a fun night in the traditional style Scottish bar. A hearty breakfast set us up perfectly for the next day. Will definitely be back!

Very clean and comfortable. A bit noisy from the bar around late afternoon, early evening, but not late in the evening. Lovely staff, great breakfast, excellent location.

This is our second time in Kircudbright and we thought we would give this place a try and we are so glad we did!! Room was so homely, basics however really comfortable bed and lovely views at the back. Staff were super friendly on check in and advised us of everything we needed. We ate here and…. Wow! We were expecting basic food but how we were wrong. We both got the tagliatelle and it was genuinely the best we have ever had and we eat at Italians quite often!! Lovely desserts too, honestly couldn't fault it! We will definitely be recommending to family and friends who visit Kircudbright. Thankyou!!

I have stayed here many times and a perfect getaway. Wonderful locals, delicious food, the best sleep on the most comfortable bed. Newly refurbished "quirky" rooms. The staff are all Wonderful and the manageress goes above and beyond. Will be back again

Chanced upto this lovely pub whilst staying in Kirkcudbright. The welcome and a**osphere was fantastic with a fire, lots of very friendly locals and wonderful food. We had the chicken filled with haggis, steak pie with puff pastry top and on our second visit the braised blade of beef - absolutely delicious. Don't go here for high end dining DO go here for fantastic food, warm, lovely people and super a**osphere!

Great stay in Kirkudbright, helped by amazing weather.
Hotel staff brilliant, very friendly and helpful.
Wr had a twin bedded room. The beds were a bit springy and the one was up against a wall, but we slept well. Excellent breakfast, well cooked and good coffee as well.
Only downside, but only sleight was the bathroom, which was tiny. I am both tall and wide and the shower was a very tight fit.
With good weather, to sit in the garden was lovely.
