We had a wonderful, relaxing belated anniversary break at Druminoch for 2 nights, which was much needed! Maggie is such a kind, welcoming host, and nothing is too much trouble. In person and by email she comes across as a warm and caring person. She went out of her way to make our stay relaxing and special, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage is very cosy and we loved relaxing beside the log fire in the living room. Being in the countryside and quiet surroundings was really therapeutic, and we just loved everything about our stay :) The room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom aswell. The shower has great water pressure, which is often hard to find in hotels/B&Bs! The bed was really comfortable and we had a great sleep on both nights. Maggie makes the effort to do a lot of personal touches (she even bought teabags for my husband when he mentioned that he liked a certain type of tea, which was really appreciated!), and we thoroughly enjoyed the treats she left in our room, her delicious baking and home made meals, they were *amazing*! Better than any restaurant! And Maggie's breakfasts are also divine, everything was delicious but I particularly enjoyed the bircher muesli (so so good!) and home made bread/jam...there was absolutely nothing we didn't like! Maggie and Druminoch tick every box you could ever wish for in a B&B/host, and her warm hospitality makes it even more special. We wished we could stay for longer, but we will definitely be back again, we hope sooner than later! Thank you so much for everything Maggie! Gail & Mike xx
