Holiday Inn Express & Suites S Lake Buena Vista

We were excited to stay in this hotel for our visit to Disney because Holiday Inn Express has always been great. This was a completely different experience. The hotel is filthy. Take my advice and choose a different hotel.

STAYED 3 NIGHTS AT THIS HOTEL MAY 30-JUNE 2. FRONT DESK WAS UNAWARE AT CHECK-IN THAT HOTEL FEES WAS INCLUDED IN BOOKING UPON ARRIVAL. WAS ASKED TO PAY AGAIN, HOWEVEDR; ONCE I SHOWED MY EMAIL CONFIRMATION IT WAS RECTIFIED IN A TIMELY MANNER. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE NOT DOUBLE PAYING FOR HOTEL FEES. ROOM- VERY UNCLEAN WITH HAIR ALL OVER BATHROOM WALL AND DOOR, FOOD CRUMBS AS WE ENTERED THE ROOM AND ON CARPET. ROOM WAS NOT INSPECTED AS THIS ISSUE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PICKED UP RIGHT AWAY. BATHROOM IS OUTDATED CAN USE SOME UPDATING. FRONT DESK WAS INFORMED AT CHECKOUT AS I WAS ON A BUSINESS TRIP AND DID NOT HAVE THE TIME. POOL AREA- WAS ASKED TO DO A TIMESHARE WHICH MY HUSBAND AND I AGREED. ONCE WE ARRIVED SITTING FOR 1 HOUR WAS TOLD THEY DID NOT HAVE ANYONE SEE US. PAID $40 CASH TO GENTELMENT AND WAS TOLD WE WOULD RECEIVE $150 GC FOR DINNER. THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME AS THE $40 GC WE RECEDIVED BACK DID NOT WORK. BREAKFAST WAS OK- CINNAMONBONS WAS A HIT.

Properly was ok. Much nicer places in same area

The location was excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the breakfast top notch! However, it was the staff that made the visit the best! From the moment we walked in they were there to welcome us and make us feel at home away from home!

We stayed in a room with two queen beds. The beds were fine and comfortable. The really bad part was the bathroom. The door could not be closed without much effort and a loud bang. The water measure was almost non-existent. The was barely enough to wash one's face and taking a shower was a real challenge. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express properties before and were very pleased. Thank goodness we had only booked one night at this property. We did not enjoy our stay at all.

I wanted to give 5 stars but they really could use some upgrades and basic maintenance, there was a chunk of drywall in my window from the top of the window frame and the window s needed replaced huge air leaks. Now that I've gotten the complaints out of the way let me ens this review with a positive... First Melissa at the front desk was amazing she was friendly and kind and when I locked myself out of my room she went above and beyond and made me a key (typically when they have to make a new key all of them have to be replaced and that's annoying she didn't do this!!?) I know this hotel's location is for all the theme parks but I think wasn't there for that but that wasn't an issue because there was so much to do onsite (especially if you have children) multiple pools poolside tiki bar and food water slides mini golf rock wall zip lines. Definitely a good value... Oh and they show movies poolside!!!
