A nice hotel with rustic charm. Bathroom very nice, however the tap may be a little slow due to age. The garden is beautiful and the staff very helpful. It should be noted that the hotel parking should not be used, as much cheeper parking is also available close to the hotel, with the parking rules of the hotel parking being expensive, whilst if you take your car out of the bay you have to pay again. Also as of 2023 they have some pretty amazing Quiche, 4.5*

You had everything you need whenever it come to JR hotel, the train station are always packed with foodies and whatever necessities you need like matsumoto kiyoshi. Fell ill this time when i arrived and the helpful staff though can't speak english well, try to help me identify the shop to get med and i greatly appreciate their customer service. Foodies street right below of the hotel, with Shin shin ramen, skewer and kinda a party foodies street. Very convenient but i dont think i will visit kokura so often but i will be back to this hotel if required. Great work!

I went to Kitakyushu for a family trip and stayed at Rihga royal hotel Fukuoka, which is located near Kokura station, the center of Kitakyushu. First of all, the location is very good. It's close to Kokura station and there are shopping centers, downtown, shopping streets, and Kokura castle nearby. Since it's near Kokura station, it's easy to get to other areas nearby, such as Fukuoka and Moji port. The hotel is a large hotel with high floors that are very noticeable in the neighborhood and seems to be the best hotel near Kokura for banquet halls, buffets, etc. It has an overall older feel than the newer hotels these days, but in a good way, it's classic and the rooms are relatively larger than the newer hotels. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, so it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is also doing a good job of maintaining the characteristic Japanese friendliness and attentiveness. The in-room amenities are also good. The hotel breakfast is also excellent for the price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kitakyushu.

The building is new, but the free parking lot is in conflict and the response when it is full is guided to another nearby hotel to another unreasonable parking lot, or the hotel will bear the cost with coin parking. Here, you can only guide the coin parking next door and the cost is not covered. Many meals are the same when staying consecutive nights, and you get tired of it. The elevator is always crowded and frustration accumulates. New built hotel.However, I had some frustrations.Free parking is almost full, so I must park the charge(400 JPY) park.And free breakfast almost the same menu every day, finally, elevator always busy and long time waiting.

Very close hotel from Shimonoseki Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. The price of the original 々 is also cheap, but we were able to stay at a low price in the Go To Travel campaign. The bed is comfortable and comfortable in a clean clean room. There was also a bicycle rental (1 only) and I was able to use it for Shimonoseki sightseeing. It is 100 yen an hour. Location conditions cleanliness is good. I don't go to the public bath on the first basement floor, but there is a joint bath. This is pribably the best hotel in mojiko, beautiful rooms and good location. Guests for the better rooms have access to the lounge providing drinks and snacks throughout afternoon and evening. However the premier deluxe room that we booked has a split level between the toilet and the bed areas. This is unsuitable and unsafe for people with handicap and elderly couple like us. We had no choice but to ask for downgrading to a normal room. A great disappointment. However, we have to thank their staff for making an effort to relay our hearing aid which we left in the hotel in Hakata. They made sure that we received the ear piece in Kobe. We are very grateful.
