I booked a twin room, which was not cramped. The free breakfast is nice. When you go out of the hotel, turn right and follow the river to Kokura Castle. It is also very close to the Shinkansen exit of Kokura Station. Shopping and eating are very convenient.

Room is a little run-down, but reasonably clean, short walking distance to the Kokura station and food streets, breakfast was nice too.

Stayed for 2 nights. Location was near to train station. Breakfast was awesome, as compared to other hotels that provided complimentary for guests. Paid parking just behind hotel.
