"If you look at this hotel from the perspective of a major international metropolis, then it's actually quite commendable, and you can understand the thoughtful details in the rooms. The hotel name itself is interesting, reminiscent of a metropolitan area in Japan.
So, from a metropolitan perspective, people who visit Tokyo usually have packed itineraries, and they mostly return to the hotel just to shower and sleep. Suddenly, you can understand the design choices in the rooms. The bedroom space isn't very user-friendly and feels a bit cramped, but the bathroom surprisingly has both a bathtub and a walk-in shower with a dry/wet separation. The shower fixtures are also designed to be easy to use, and even the toilet has a bidet seat.
But after understanding all that, I still have to say... this is Chiang Mai, not Tokyo!
While the hotel's location is genuinely good, a quick search will show you that not far away, there are hotels with similar prices but much more spacious rooms.
Although every outlet in the room comes with a USB-A port, they are all a bit far apart. Also, regular phone chargers often don't work properly; they disconnect with the slightest touch.
Five stars go to the lobby staff; they are truly very friendly. If I were to consider staying here a second time, it would genuinely be because of the lobby staff."
