Hampton Inn & Suites Kittery-Portsmouth

This is a wonderful property, staff were all terrific and the stay was perfect. We’ll be back here without hesitation.

Good for price

Fun overnight with the girls! Breakfast was great!

I have stayed in many Hampton Inns, and this is one of the best. It looks brand new. The hallways are wide and bright. Our room was large and fresh, with a good walk in shower. Breakfast was fine- the usual. We enjoyed the easy proximity to the retail outlets in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

Tried to check in at 1:00, but was told the room wouldn't he ready until 3:00. Cam back at 3:10 and was told the room still was not ready. After about 15 minutes our room was ready. No staff member felt there was a need for concern. I thought they should have been more considerate of the reservation that was made. Room was average, bathroom and shower were great. Nothing out of the ordinary to speak of. Also for some reason the elevators had a strange smell, not a good smell honestly.

We were greeted with a smile by Ashley upon arrival. She was efficient, informative, and pleasant during the check-in process. We made use of the pool, which was clean, the water temperature was comfortable, and it was nice to have access to clean/dry towels(poolside). Complimentary breakfast and coffee during our stay was a happy convenience, I'm a big fan of a waffle station! The variety and selection overall was very good. All staff members we encountered were helpful and kind. Willie, (houseman/housekeeping employee) needs an honorable mention from us! He went above and beyond for us during our stay. Starting with our first encounter, Willie greeted us warmly, and always had a cheerful disposition, right up until the morning we checked out. He is also hard working. There is value in having an employee such as Willie, at this property. We requested new bed linens and some clean towels after one night, I had a coffee mishap. After a long day of sightseeing, we returned to an immaculately serviced room. I've stayed at properties where a request like mine resulted in a plastic bag of clean linens being left by the door(which is also fine), clearly the standards at Hampton Inn & Suites in Kittery are higher. Well done. All around, our stay was phenomenal. I will recommend the property to others, and hope to return.

Excellent customer service, staff was very accommodating. Hotel was clean and in a convenient area near shopping and dining.
