The large Villa Mara apar**ent is an excellent accommodation, overlooking - like the others - a beautiful tropical garden with a lovely swimming pool. The Zanzibar style building, with a beautiful palm leaf roof, is simple but spacious and comfortable (excellent beds). Breakfast and dinner in the residence, not much choice but more than satisfactory quality (no alcohol)).

I spent 5 night in this excellent place with all conforts. All has been super, (cordiality, help, clean and safety). IF U WILL NOT TRY IT, U WILL NEVER UNDESTAND WHAT U LOST BEFORE. I.m a real frequency traveller and only few times in 25 yrs I found in my life this high level apar**ent .

We stayed at the Breeze Residence and had a wonderful time, warm welcome from the manager and the Masai who help you throughout your stay with anything, large, spacious and clean rooms. Attention to detail, from the swimming pool (a gem just a few steps from the apar**ents) to the gardens and rooms of the houses! A few minutes walk from the crystal clear sea!

Completely surrounded by greenery, the swimming pool in the center of the complex is very welcoming and relaxing. There are apar**ents of different types and they are all very welcoming, but I stayed in the "VILLA CRI" apar**ent which is on two floors... the first is super functional, very well furnished and with the necessary comforts... But the part above has a crazy view... from there you can see the real and magical Africa... I really recommend it to everyone The Breeze also has an excellent position regarding the beach... Kiwengwa... it will leave you breathless

BREEZE RESIDENCE APAR**ENTS REVIEW (aka Crow Residence) If you are looking for a place where a family of resident crows LOUDLY screech and squawk annoyingly from before sunrise to after sundown; if you are looking for a place next to a primary school where children screech and scream throughout some school days and some evenings until 21:00, if you are looking for a “resort” where you must walk 300 meters through garbage strewn streets and alleys, including 83 stairway steps down to access the beach; if you enjoy sleeping on a concrete “soft” mattress; if some days you enjoy the sound of the neighbors’ power saws cutting stone for hours; if you love to languish in boxy, hardwood, spartan-like, uncomfortable furniture; if you are happy preparing your meals in a poorly equipped kitchen, if you are easily fooled by well staged website photographs; if your idea of a “fitness center” is a punching bag, an ancient bicycle and two home-fashioned, concrete in plastic-bottle barbells; if you don’t mind struggling with EVERY poorly fitted door in the suite that needs to be wedged, jimmied, tugged, or slammed........ then the Breeze (Crow) Residence is the ideal place for you to spend your hard earned relaxation time and money. The name “Breeze” may be misleading; no actual “breeze” seemed to reach our suite. If you are looking for a lower priced place to stay on Zanzibar, this may be the place for you. Do not set your expectations high, you will be disappointed. There are two restaurants in the immediate area (one is closed on Mondays). A few items on the positive side; the pool and courtyard are nice areas, the air conditioner worked in the bedroom (thank goodness) and the Tanzanian staff are all courteous and hospitable.

We stayed 13 days in this typical, welcoming structure just a few steps from the crystal clear sea. Italian management Nicola and Alle pay attention to everything. Perfect cleaning. Good starting point for visiting the island with excursions organized by Salomon. Possibility to dine in the village at the Italian restaurant. Beautiful African dinner with Masai show. All perfect! I left a piece of my heart in Zanzibar

Stayed for 5 nights with the family, the apar**ents are nice, the showers work, the swimming pools are always clean, the hotel is located 150 meters from the beach, the breakfast is plentiful, the restaurant cuisine is top notch
The only downside that does not depend on the hotel, are the taxis and village delivery man who honks from 6:00 a.m. to warn the locals of their arrival
