Het hotel ligt op het water aan een prachtige zeearm. De kamers zijn goed ingericht maar( te) klein: ook de bedden zijn aan de smalle kant. Het ontbijt is prima; het avondeten ok, maar erg weinig keus en niet goedkoop. De staf is vriendelijk. Op zich een aardige plek als je rust zoekt, maar als je naar de dichtstbij gelegen stad( Gothenburg, aanrader) wil is dat een klein uur rijden met de auto.

All the way out in the end of Tjörn lies Klädesholmen, an old fishing and cannery village. Petite white wooden houses cluster the rocks. Just after crossing the bridge you will find this modern hotel perched on docks. Great water views, comfortable beds. Free parking. The restaurant serves top notch local specialties like a pickled herring sampler which is perfect to share. Breakfast of fresh breads, cheeses, meats and fruits. Staff is top notch.

This was a very special stay for us and a lovely floating hotel - such a wonderful and unique experience to be on the water in a luxurious space. I would have liked to have had access to the spa (closed very early) and/or information about the hours when I checked in - then I would have made sure not to have missed out - this was the only disappointment. Highly recommend!

The welcome was chalet and perfect. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The host has incredible charm. The place is magnificent. It is the best place as a starting point to visit the surrounding islands.

The location of the hotel is worth the (high) price of the room. In fact, while the main body, bar and restaurant, are located on the mainland, the rooms are built on a pier in the middle of the water. From the solarium terraces you can enjoy a spectacular view of the rocky islets and you can see seagulls and ducks, as well as beautiful sunsets. The room is basic, well lit, excellent wi fi. The bathroom products are in theme with the name of the room, in our "citron" all the products have lemon aroma, and each room has a different aroma. Ideal for relaxing for half a day, you can try the restaurant, with a beautiful view of the sea, which serves refined dishes and is not too expensive either. Equally splendid breakfast by the water.

Hotel is listed as floating hotel on dock. Thus is where we thought we were staying We were placed in an apartment called a "villa" off site on a street away from harbor w/ a view of a bus stop and on a major intersection. Very disappointing
