Hampton Inn Evansville

This hotel had the best customer service I've ever experienced! The person who checked me in was friendly and personable, the breakfast was AWESOME, and every time I passed a hotel employee, they always said hello. I will stay at this hotel every time I am in Evansville.

We were not impressed with this hotel. We stayed there before a couple of years ago and it was ok. We checked in April 11 on Friday and out on Sunday and NEVER saw anyone clean our room, no clean towels and some toiletries were empty. My sister in law was staying there too because we were attending a family function. She has stayed there 20 + times and said she would never stay there again. She was there for three nights and had to beg to have her room cleaned the last day at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. I don’t recommend this hotel.

First the lady Named Dee at the front desk is fabulous . I saw her mopping the floor as it was raining outside and lots of water being brought in. But other things bothered me. The elevator was slow,we used the stairs most of the time. No drinks at breakfast but water or coffee.Ice machine on our floor broke. But worst was soon as you park there were signs everywhere that you must pay to park or be towed. Front desk , all over the lot. But on their website says free parking, on reservation says free parking. Everyone was arguing about it, but was corporate decision. So you better pay and dont take chance on being towed. Either wave fee or change your website. Quit doing a bait and switch tactic telling you it's free then threaten with a tow.

The coffee wasn’t hot. The eggs were powdered. The sausage was overdone. There was no fresh juice. It was prepackaged and no plane waffle batter just vanilla. The bananas were green and are still waiting to ripen.

Stopped in for our nightly stay on our road trip. Safe are with several other nearby hotels, and restaurants within walking distance. Nice area, and a large coin-operated laundry room that wasn’t being used. After 1 ½ weeks on the road – we needed to do some wash. I think we did 4-5 loads between check-in and check-out. Also, one large spillage pond sitting between 3-4 hotels. No fish. Don’t bother. Parking: Free lot Service: Friendly Would recommend: Yes Would re-patronize: Yes

Loved the bottles of bath wash,shampoo,conditioner and lotion in the big bottles verses the small bottles

Had some rowdy people on our floor made a lot of noise… Room was decent. Coffee pot didn’t have the tray to put coffee in.

Highly recommended checking their non-refundable policy was trying to book a room with family and chose the wrong hotel realized 15 minutes later and could not receive a refund I understand policy but after losing my mother a hour prior in a nearby hospital 5 hours from home I was hoping for a exception. Im glad Hampton Inn needed my one night stay more than I did

The room was spotless and looked to have been recently renovated. The front desk staff was very welcoming and efficient.
