This is what an airport hotel should be all about - a focus on sleep. Quick checkin and everything focussed on a quiet environment, carpet, toilets, aircon…. Everything is so quiet. It’s great! Add a wonderful breakfast available from 0430 to 1000, great wifi and a convenient and free airport Alpha bus and this hotel has it all.

I stayed here on a solo visit, booking was very easy and the hotel really communicative. Getting to the hotel from Arlanda airport was easy, the shuttle bus service is spot on and easy to catch. I stayed in a single room, which is where my disappointment comes, the website shows a light and airy room, but it was anything but, quite dark, not very welcoming and the view of a waste bin out the window wasn't great. The shower was very good, but, with no sort of plug mechanism on the sink, if I had a shower the smell of sewage from the sink was strong and very off putting. I will say though that the bed was genuinely one of the comfiest I have ever slept in! There was no tea or coffee in the room, and I was a little disappointed there were no UK/US or even French or German news channels on the TV - just a little thing that an international airport could have - that's not to say watching the 'Timber World Championship' wasn't bad. I stayed in room 22, please be advised that in this room I was awoken each night by bottle trolleys being emptied and people going to and from the bar. Breakfast in the hotel was OK, a fair selection and you could sort a takeaway coffee - the cheese rolls and the jam biscuits were really tasty. I must say the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel. They were more than happy to chat to me in English through my broken Swedish. The hotel itself is located in an industrial estate and there wasn't too much around, but a quick shuttle bus to SkyCity at Arlanda and you had shops and a McDonalds close by. I would stay here again, but perhaps in a higher standard of room!

Certainly one of the swankier and plusher Radisson Blu hotels in Scandinavia. Stylish Scandic design prevails all over the property from cool decors of the common areas to the charming touches to F & B establishments. Absolutely worth the money I paid for this. Great value for money LOCATION: Located right next to the Central station and walkable from all key points of interest DINE + DRINK: Excellent Breakfast served at the cool Lobby level restaurant that is worth waking up for. The Bar and the Terrace seating are also lovely places to hang out in the evenings. ROOM: I stayed in Room 749, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Lovely view of the Train station and the old city at a distance from a Huge Balcony where you can spend evenings and lazy mornings; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good Radisson branded Cosmetics FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a good range of weights and Cardio machines, fit enough for a full-on workout! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi(up to 90 Mbps) that works well all over the property. Medium-sized Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages

Very close to the airport There is a shuttle bus to and from the airport Rich breakfast It is the most satisfying hotel I have stayed in in Europe. Service is also good, love it

Fantastic modern hotel with impressive public areas and services. They have an ultra modern gym and terrific sauna above the front desk. They have a play area near the front desk and a place to have breakfast and meals. The staff was very accommodating with Linus and Marijn offer personable and excellent service. Room is modern, but could use some artwork as it's very austere. Also the bathroom is one of those half glass affairs that the Europeans love, so the shower is going to spray all over the bathroom from the open back end. Also there was no soap dish which was frustrating and surprising. Nearby is a great Italian restaurant Nonno. Pro tip, if you're coming from the airport don't take a taxi as they'll charge you the full amount to go in a Stockholm and not to this hotel which is 10 minutes away. Take an Uber.

I have stayed at much better Radissons... I chose this hotel because of its location in Arlanda airport. I was given a room that was cold (and took a long time to heat up), smelled like the previous occupants last bowel movement, the shower had a broken switch which caused the water pressure to be shared between the taps to fill the bath and shower head.. The option to share my device's screen on the in room TV didn't work, and there was some garbage from the previous guest left in the wardrobe.. which doesn't make me believe the rooms are cleaned with enough diligence. When I raised this at reception at check out, I didn't receive as much as a ”sorry to hear that”, instead I got a ”I will let them know”. I will try another airport hotel next time!

Two postmark sized pillows. No amenities in the room, went to the breakfast at 6:30 the plates were empty and the staff slow to refill everything. The front desk staff didn’t care about the appearance. A lot of trash and used coffee mugs everywhere and they just ignored it. When I bought a cider from the bar, I wasn’t even offered a glass with ice. But the worst thing with this hotel is the small pillows, it would’ve been fine if there was more than two in the room..

Another little gem and highly recommended. We booked this hotel as an overnighter, having flown in from Lulea (northern Sweden0 that afternoon and on our way to Budapest. The hotel is about 15km from Arlanda Airport, so quite convenient. Just beware (see my other review) of the outrageous charges imposed on a 15km taxi ride.by an “outfit” called weride. They pepper the arrivals door at the airport.. The hotel is actually a converted boarding school from the 30’s we think, but the Town, Sigtuna is the OLDEST in Sweden and very, very interesting. We only had a late afternoon to wander, but will be coming back to explore this fascinating town dating back to the Viking era. Hotel Kristina is run by a family with the familiar, personal touch. Rooms are ok in size and the bathroom, also good with piping hot water. The restaurant, breakfast and bar were great and the hotel features an outdoor sunroom/greenhouse which is heated. We sat “outside” with drinks and enjoyed the pitter-patter of rain on the glass panels. By far the highlight was the staff who were exceptionally friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Just be aware that access to reception is via steps although there is an elevator the staff can operate for luggage and mobility compromised visitors/guests. The town, via Hotel Kristina is worthy of a dedicated day;s exploration if you are heading to Stockholm. Highly recommended as stated at the outset.
