We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Oliver Hotel. The hotel has a lot of warmth and character, and our room was very spacious and nice. The location right in Market Square is great, with a lot of good restaurant options and good shopping as well. We also enjoyed great cocktails at the Peter Kern Library. Highly recommend the hotel.

I was very impressed with this little quaint, 26 room hotel. It really felt like a bed and breakfast more than it felt like a hotel. All of the staff new me by name.

A wonderful 4- night stay at the Oliver Hotel/Knoxville was made even better by the exceptional service provided by AJ/Assistant General Mgr and front desk staff Christopher and Shaq. Our thanks to all for an exceptional, accommodating stay and experience. We will be back!

I got pneumonia and my son had to have knee surgery all in one week/days before. All extenuating circumstances we would ever have anticipated or been able to prepare for. They refused to speak to me about a refund, kept telling me "I will let management know". I called a couple of times since, and they say they will call me back, but they never do. Bad business practice if you just choose to avoid your customers. (because you know you aren't proud of your actions) We were going to go back the following weekend (and eat at their restaurant) but still they would not return a call or put anyone on the phone who could least own it. Go elsewhere! This hotel has show it is the opposite of a boutique hotel business model- a hotel chain would have provided better service!! Boooo! Our family stays at the best hotels when we travel. This hotel has shown it isn't one of them.
