We slept for 3 nights in the Lagoon Suite 206, right on the water and unfortunately also directly above a restaurant with outdoor seating. From 8 a.m. to midnight it was incredibly noisy and we couldn't enjoy the suite and the great view over the lagoon. Dear Turbine team: In the future, please warn your guests about this “noisy” situation in Suite 206 when checking in. You pay twice as much for a suite as for a room. Unfortunately, since the hotel was fully booked over Christmas, we had nowhere else to go.

Easy to find and parking was available. . Unique and quirky hotel added to the experience. Awesome views from our room balcony. Food and staff were exceptional, I can thoroughly recommend the Turbine; only wish I could have stayed longer. 😁

I cannot find fault with this beautiful and unusual hotel. Staff are wonderful - professional, yet friendly. Setting is fantastic. Lots of "common areas" for one to laze around in without feeling that you're on top of other guests. Good was great too.

While I couldn’t fault the hotel, it had all the basics, it was clean, staff were friendly however it fell far short from being five star in many respects. Room was very small, had absolutely no view & it lacked the little personal touches that you would expect from a 5 star establishment. Service was ok but nothing exceptional.

We absolutely loved this little hotel, built in an old turbine power station! Such a clever construction, keeping the old mashinery and making the building into a very stylish modern hotel. Great and quiet location, by the water. The room was fantastic, the staff was super friendly and caring and the food was delicious! Lovely pool area! We would definitely return if we travel in this area!

We stayed for the 3rd time at THE TURBINE BOUTIQUE HOTEL AND SPA! What a nice place to go !! Its a safe area and the staff and the food are excellent!!

Unique hotel, great staff on the beautiful Thesen Island. We chose a room with a view over the water which gave stunning views. Would particularly recommend their restaurant. Delicious food.
