Mila Kohlarn

Perfect location, but disappointing service during check-out. It was partly my fault for sleeping late and waking up at 11 AM. I went to the front desk to request a late check-out and even offered to pay extra since we had not finished packing. I also did not realize the hotel’s check-out time was 11 AM, as most hotels usually have a 12 PM check-out. During check-in, the hotel provided private cart transfers from the jetty, but upon check-out, guests were simply directed to use public transport. The room and view were decent, and the breakfast was good, but it was left outside the door uncovered. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service experience was disappointing.

Mila Kohlarn is definitely a “must-stay” hotel on Koh Larn Island. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent — easily one of the highlights of the stay. The location is unbeatable: it’s literally right on Taewan Beach, so you can step out and you’re on the beachfront straight away. It’s also super convenient that you can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel to explore the other beaches around the island. You can order meals to your room. A nice touch on arrival was the welcome drink — so refreshing, especially in the heat. The free pick-up and drop-off service between the pier and the hotel was also smooth and hassle-free, which made travelling with bags much easier. Highly recommended if you want comfort, convenience, and a top location on Koh Larn.
