Resting Place Ko YAO Yai

I recently stayed at The Resting Place on Koh Yao Yai, and it was absolutely perfect. The bungalow was lovely, with a beautiful sea view, comfortable beds, and everything you could possibly need. The owner and his staff go above and beyond to fulfill all your needs. He even picked me up from the pier, which made everything so easy from the start. You can book tours and mopeds directly through him, and he always ensures you get the best price. They also prepare a delicious Thai breakfast for you every morning, which was such a nice touch. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. everything was perfect!

Resting Place was a lovely place to stay. The room was modern and complete with a smart tv. The room included fridge, safe, hair dryer, kettle, drying rack, firm mattress, very clean room with a stunning view. The island generally does have various notable inserts; a lot of mosquitoes come out when the sun goes down. Where ever I went I saw ants (beach, restaurant and room). Not a massive air con person but found not cold enough. The room never had a good wi-fi signal. The breakfast was fried rice, egg and pancake and tasted good. Yon the Hotelier was extremely accommodating and free use of two bicycles.
