This hotel service is very good and we love food prepared for us is super nice

Everything was amazing. Great dinner kaiseki was delicious. And breakfast also. Stuff was very friendly, speak english, always helped. Good location, if you go outside the ryokan you'll find a beautiful path through nature, and little local streets. I recommend you not to take transfer, but to go by yourself from the station enjoying views. Comfortable onsen with instructions for foreigners. For me it was memorable experience. I want ro visit this place again ☺️

Didn't realized it will be on top of a hill. We got delayed on our train from Kansai, hence arrived a bit late to Arima, tried to call for shuttle but was unsuccessful hence we run up the hill which we thought was just a small distance, but it was much, we've finally arrived to the hotel at 7:30pm a bit earlier than their published latest check in time of 8:00pm. We were told dinner won't be serve after 7pm, we rushed all the way for nothing. They should have also published that on the website to avoid people like us planning a trip to Arima to experience aside from the onsen but also for the traditional Japanese meals. Anyway, after negotiation they did served us the dinner and it was tasty and sumptuous. Aside from the small issue about the dinner, this place is clean & quiet, staffs were very nice and attentive, the onsen are relaxing and we got a very good night sleep. Will still recommend this hotel, but remember to tell them about your arrival time and book the shuttle bus.

The room with indoor hot spring, family members who see it will run away! If you want to be awakened by the first ray of sunshine at five in the morning, if you want to sleep with the sound of gurgling hot spring water all night, choose this room. There are only two thin bamboo curtains in the whole house. I checked with the waitress sister with doubts on the night of check-in. She gave a clear and firm answer, yes, so I went to sleep with peace of mind until I was awakened at five in the morning the next day. I came for vacation, not to survive, let alone military training. How dare you sell this kind of room with one night and two meals? At most, it can be equipped with a day return package. At this time, Ctrip Meimei shirked the blame, saying that this was a room booked by an agent, not directly booked by them. The only thing that satisfied me was that Ctrip still had online customer service at five in the morning, but they could not solve any of my requests, and I still had to wait until the hotel went to work. However, no one at the hotel apologized to me until I checked out. Is this the attitude of the Japanese service industry? I have used Ctrip to book overseas hotels for many years, and this time I really felt cheated. To be honest, the Golden Hot Spring is still very comfortable. I was so angry that I could only take a crazy bath during the check-in time to make up for my inner pain. If you want a private hot spring, you should either book a suite or stay in the most ordinary one and pay extra. Overall it's very good. I originally thought it was old, but it feels very new with decoration, like a four-star hotel. It was my first self-driving trip and I could park my car overnight for free in the parking lot at the entrance. I thought the car wouldn’t start the next morning, but the staff were very friendly and helped me make a call. Thank you very much! And both dinner and breakfast are very delicious!

I looked at many hotels and finally chose theirs because they have a 24-hour sulfur hot spring indoors. The price is not cheap, nearly 8,000 per night for 3 people including breakfast and dinner, but it is a tourist attraction in Japan and the room is big enough so it is good value for money. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the hot spring town tourist attraction. If you want to take a bus, you can take it. If you don’t want to visit the town, you can go there. The only thing is that the way back is uphill, so it will be a bit difficult for the elderly to walk. In short, everything is good except for the price!
