While it's close to the station, it's quite a distance from the bustling areas like Nankinmachi and Kobe Port. It's a hostel with over ten people in one room, but for this price, that's pretty much what you can expect.

Was able to rent a towel for a reasonable cost. Hostess was lovely and kind, bed was comfortable. Kobe is a really lovely place.

I likes staying in Kobe,its a great city, i stayed for 3 nights then extended my stay for another night and was considering staying much longer but the price to stay started of ok ,then when I extended the price when up a little, then when I went to book again the price was insanely high,so I moved out
The guy running the hostel was nice
I'd recommend staying there if it were $20 odd dollars a night but not what trip.com had it advertised for on Saturday night

Great place to stay. Not far from main attractions. Two stops away in a train.
Main host is friendly and speaks English. He was very helpful with recommendations as well.
The place was super clean.

A fine hostel. No lift, so you'll have to haul your luggage up at least 4 flights of stairs. Towels are available only for rental. I didn't see much of the staff. The space was very clean, I stayed for two nights and there were only a couple other people. A little expensive for what it is, though I think prices in late December tend to be higher

Well, my room was with 2 bunk beds. You need to make your bed by yourself. Room is small but cozy. There all the facilities you need for a short trip.
