Wir haben eine Woche im Fährhaus verbracht. Unsere Eindrücke: Es ist ein schönes, modernes Hotel am Ortsrand von Koblenz, direkt an der Mosel gelegen. Sehr ruhig. Wir hatten die Penthouse Suite mit einem großzügigen Wohn- und Schlafbereich und einer noch großzügigeren Terrasse. Das Frühstück entsprach der Hotelkategorie und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Abendmahlzeiten waren sehr lecker und gut zubereitet. Allerdings hätten wir uns etwas mehr Auswahl oder Abwechslung auf der Speise-, bzw. Tageskarte gewünscht. Besonderes Highlight: Bei angenehmen Temperaturen wurde draußen auf der Terrasse serviert! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Kompetenz der Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen, wir fühlten uns im „Fährhaus“ immer gut aufgehoben.

Wir haben in diesem Hotel seit Mai 2022 mittlerweile einen 5-stelligen Betrag gelassen, und an die 50 Übernachtungen, und bin heute überrascht gewesen, wie man mit Stammkunden umgeht. Habe aktuell alle offenen Reservierungen für das 3. Quartal storniert, das man wegen einem Storno auf weitere dutzende Übernachtungen verzichtet, hättet ich aus betriebswirtschaftlicher und Management-Sicht nicht gedacht...

Schönes Design, gutes Essen und Blick auf Mosel. Leider ist die Lage trotz Mosellage eher suboptimal. Mit unserem Hund durften wir die Umgebung erkunden und fanden Industrie, Militär und Brachflächen. Ein schöner Weg direkt am Ufer Fehlanzeige. Da unser erstes Mal im Fährhaus, hatten die Foto‘s im Netz und im 101 Besten etwas anderes vermuten lassen. Als Stopover und ohne Hund sicher eine gute Wahl, für uns eher nicht das passende.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und das Personal war aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und praktisch. Das Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert und das Frühstück bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse war ein Highlight, das man nicht missen möchte.

Das Hotel gewinnt schon am Empfang durch natürliche Freundlichkeit. Die ganze Einrichtung ist stylisch und doch gediegen. Sehr geschmackvolle Zimmer mit großen Fenstern/Schiebetüren. Betten hervorragend. Das Frühstück 1a, das Essen im Restaurant excellent. Ich komme garantiert wieder. Auch privat.
