Hotel Raindrops

A gem of a hotel for a comfortable stay. Near to the lake yet at the centre of the town, gives access to other restaurants. Very clean with excellent liveries and toiletries and tastefully furnished. Hotel staff is very polite and quickly responsive. The only drawback, if it can termed so, is that only vegetarian fare is available but the restaurant serves excellent food. The negatives are the rooms have no cross ventilation and unless you insist might end up with a windowless room. The window they say is actually a french door. Double check what type of of room you are getting. I was given a room which they call as rustic but is the basic room type. When i refused alternative room was given with additional charges.

Good, clean, mid budget hotel. Staff polite, helpful and well behaved. Property close to lake and intro town site seeing locations. Recommended.

It was a pleasent stay at the center of the town. The property is just next to kodai lake. Hotel staff were very courteous. They let us keep our luggage at the reception and helped with a temporary room to freshen up as we had reached earlier than the actual check-in time. Room was clean and well maintained. For food, we went out all days, as the menu at the bistro attached to the hotel was very limited. Hotel helped with the sightseeing arrangements as well at nominal charges. Overall we enjoyed our stay there )

Rooms are very clean but peoples are not supportive.

Can get an awesome experience of kodaikanal lke which is just 100 mts away from property. A morning walk is an life time experience around the lake and cycling too!

The rooms are very big and comfortable. It is close by major attractions and has restaurant in premise with excellent food

Property location - excellent food - very good hotel & rooms - very good staffs - very good rooms veiw - very poor

Right at the junction of 7cross road, so the location cannot get better. All major restaurants are a quick walk away. Lake/boat house is 5 min walk. Rooms are on the smaller side definitely, but the very friendly folks make it up.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and the hotel is located in city center. The parks and lake are just at walkable distance. There are also good restaurants near by.
