I went to Tokiwa Hotel in my hometown of Yamanashi. Last time I stayed in a detached house, but this time I stayed in a Japanese-Western room in the main building. Above all, what my husband and I like is that the dinner and breakfast are delicious. The best seasoning that would have been too strong if it was any stronger! delicious! I will visit again.

I was able to stay at a very cheap price through a summer vacation sale on a certain travel site. I mistakenly thought it was a Western-style room and clicked. In Japanese-style rooms, I don't like people coming into my room while I'm relaxing and putting up and lowering my futon. It was a state guesthouse, and they laid out futons between meals and provided us with late-night snacks. The refrigerator in the room provided juice, carbonated water, and water. There were two bottles of water at room temperature for coffee and tea, but there were only two drip type coffees, and since it's a Japanese hotel, coffee after meals is not included, so I guess it's not enough for one person to drink one cup in two days. Mt. Fuji could only be seen a little in the morning due to the bad weather. Still, I'm impressed. The room was nice and spacious, but the TV was small for the size of the room. The tatami was rippling. In the alcove, there is a hanging scroll with October on it, and although it is in good condition, the floor tatami is full of fraying. I wonder if it was before it was renovated into a Western-style room? The food was delicious, but there were no surprises or surprises. The sashimi is fish flown in alive from the Goto Islands. There was an explanation, but do you care about that? I tought. More than that, I would have liked the grilled fish for breakfast to be freshly grilled and the thickly baked eggs to be freshly made. It was a nice grilled fish, but it was cold. The thick fried egg was cold and cut in half. I wanted the rice to be served in a bowl. The hot springs are a little lukewarm. They provide ice cream, barley tea, and water after you take a bath. The hair dryer was a Dyson. It was a hotel that made me feel like I was in some places.

It's called a guest house in Kofu, and it's a "luxury hotel", but to be honest, I can't deny that it's unfashionable, which is common in hot spring inns in the countryside. Here and there, pots, paintings, folding screens, and so on are displayed without sense, and even in the tokonoma of a Japanese-style room, ikebana is simply placed in a vase with no sense of Western flowers. . However, if you give up on the limits of Yamanashi and look at it with a tolerant eye, the garden is lovely, the price is not so expensive, the food is reasonably delicious, and the drink and ice cream service is substantial. I think it's a good value hotel. [Room] I stayed at the detached room "Keyaki". It is the only room with a bedroom in the detached room. It seems to be the smallest room among the detached rooms, but it was enough for two people to stay. The open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water was good, and the cypress indoor bath was also good. Also, it was the closest room to the main building among the detached rooms, so it was very convenient. Recommended for elderly people. Drinks (juice, beer, champagne, soda, etc.) in the refrigerator in the room are free. [Meal] Was it a bonfire? It was a course ranked in the middle of the kaiseki course. In the detached room, dinner was served in the room, and breakfast was served in a private dining room. The course is basically a Japanese course, but it also has creative Japanese elements. The taste and quantity were just right. [Bath] It seems that the hot spring source is only a separate open-air bath. The large public bath is a circulation type. Therefore, if you are particular about the quality of the spring water, we recommend that you stay in a detached room. However, the public bath is also quite nice. There is ice candy service at the dressing room, and the open-air rock bath is also pleasant.
