The rooms were just okay; they're set up as villas, split into ground and first floors. Being on an island, a musty smell is to be expected, but with a bit of intervention, it could easily be aired out. The hotel breakfast was decent, but it's charged separately and quite expensive, though at least it tasted good. There's a pool at the hotel, which is great for families with kids, but be sure to slather on the sunscreen!

We were driving ourselves, so having a car was very convenient. It was about a 20-minute drive from where we disembarked. The hotel is very kid-friendly; the water park is excellent, and there are lifeguards specifically for safety. Our room was in a two-story building, so we had to carry our luggage up and down, but it was clean, hygienic, and relatively new. The facilities and amenities were also great. The staff were very friendly and always greeted us. The hotel has its own beach, which is nice, but the sea color wasn't ideal due to the rainy season. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, just a few minutes' drive away with many restaurants. A Seven Eleven is right outside the hotel. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The pool was a big hit with the kids; they could play there from morning onwards. However, the slide closes at 6 PM.

Staff very friendly. Breakfast ok and dinner at the barbecue on the beach was great. Room clean but the bathroom door was installed the wrong way round so it took up space and also added more coat hangers, when there are four towels there should be 4 coat hangers now there is only one. Overall the hotel is clean.
Children scream at the swimming pool all day but that was already known when booking.

I stayed here three years ago, and the price difference now is huge. It might be due to Thai New Year, making it more expensive, but I don't understand why the hotel doesn't provide toothpaste and toothbrushes. When I called the front desk, they told me to buy them myself at 7-Eleven! This really surprised me, as they used to provide them. Also, the toilet kept making noise, so I didn't sleep well at night. My room was on the second floor, and the chairs on the balcony had hollow bases underneath. If you're traveling with children, definitely request a room not on the second floor, otherwise, it's quite dangerous!
