This location is absolutely stunning. Right on the beach, so close to the Ghost Ship, and fishing is available (get your own gear from the fishing shop on the pier). It’s in a more secluded and quiet area, away from the bustle, but still close enough to walk about twenty minutes to the pier, or rent a bike/taxi easily nearby. The food is good, service is wonderful!!! We absolutely loved staying here and would certainly return again if we go back to Koh Chang!

What an amazing place. We stayed here for 5 days in the bungalow with the sea view. The bungalow is spacious with all comforts you need. The hostess of the resort was very kind and helpful. With every question you had she was ready to help you. The beach is great and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Also nearby is a deserted resort with a ghostship and a very beautifull waterfall to see.
If you go to koh chang and want to avoid the busy tourist places go visit The Tropical Beach resort. You won't regret it!

A hidden gem at the end of klong Kloi beach. Rooms were spacious, and while there is no pool, the resort is right on the beach and the sea is warm and calm. While we stayed the restaurant was not open, so all guests went to the next resort for breakfast. The staff informed us that the restaurant will reopen next year. They have a masseuse right on the beach who are well worth a visit! The only thing to consider is the distance from the main road, we were pretty mobile and happily took tuk tuk taxis to other parts of the island, but those with kids and/or a lot of luggage might find the location a bit remote. There is a place to rent motorbikes nearby (at a reasonable price) but personally, as this area of the island is very hilly, we chose to not rent and just used taxis instead.

Slechte verhouding prijs kwaliteit
Veel te veel geld voor dit hotel. Ruime kamer zonder opbergvoorzieningen. Viezige douche en toiletgedeelte. Veel rotsen bij laag water. Camping naast het hotel. Weinig tot niets te doen. Alleen met een scooter kom je ergens. Scooter absolute noodzaak. Veel soort hippie barretjes en restaurantjes bij het hotel. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Onze gewassen kleding lag al 2 dagen achter de balie. Bijna de boot gemist naar het volgende eiland omdat het personeel de pick up niet had geregeld. Tropical beach resort voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen.

So disappointed with our stay. This resort is just not good value for money. We stayed in a beach front villa and whilst the location in good, the villa is very rustic but clean. The bathroom is very poor for the price you pay no plug in the sink, basic. Products and shower just warm and not powerful. The main reason for a 3 is the service and staff are abysmal. No leadership, no one manager the resort. Lunch at 1pm waited 27 mins for a drink and only then when I went to collect it. After 45 mins of waiting for food we paid for the drinks and left Wound not return or recommend this resort. It’s on a nice beach and very quiet and relaxing but you do feel a little isolated from the rest of the island. You can walk down the beach to a couple of bars and restaurants

We just ate at the restaurant and the food was really bad, like cooked by someone completely unskilled. My wife is Thai so no confusion here. It was just a very disapointing meal. Pad Thai was wrongly made, wrong noodles and taste likevice. Green curry did not taste really at all.

What a paradise! It is the last hotel in the south. After this hotel is the burned gost ship. Between Tropical beach and the main road you can walk at the beach where there are several restaurants and a bar. You can also get massages at the beach. The restaurants have good quality food and the prices are nice. Everything closes at 22 o'clock. The hotel is clean, very nice and friendly staff, nice breakfast with western and Thai food. The houses are on the beach, it is a paradise! In the evening there is mostly some entertainment, like a BBQ with fire show or live music. We ate here a couple of times and it was good. We loved the curry panang and the spicy salat with shrimps. The bed sleeps very well and the shower / bathroom had so many space, we could easily shower together. If the hotel owner considers any investments, I would recommand soft chairs at the balkony and restaurant and a bigger fridge. But these are details! We just loved this place. Hope you can visit Koh Chang and stay in this hotel 🙏
