SYLVAN Koh Chang

Booked in for a couple of days and have decided to stay 9 more days....think that says enough. Its stunning here. The breakfast is lovely. The scenery is breathtaking Its a special place. We hired mopeds to see the rest of the island too. Friendly staff, nothing is too much xx

We had a wonderful time at SYLVAN Koh Chang. Everything was excellent, from the cleanliness to the service. The breakfast was definitely the highlight—delicious with plenty of variety. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and fun getaway

We had an amazing stay at Sylvan Koh Chang and truly enjoyed every moment. The resort is beautiful and full of little surprises. Every corner is stunning, surrounded by nature and beautiful frangipani flowers. The scent of fresh frangipani around the swimming pool was absolutely wonderful and made the whole stay feel even more special. The staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They kindly prepared a lovely towel birthday cake for my partner with fresh frangipani flowers, which was such a sweet and memorable surprise. During breakfast, we even saw a huge bird nearby, which was a unique and memorable experience. One of our most unforgettable moments was walking back along the beach at night after dinner. The sky was full of stars, and we even saw a shooting star. It felt magical and romantic. Overall, it was a wonderful stay filled with beautiful memories. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this resort to couples looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway.

Sylvan Koh Chang Hotel was very amazing and beautiful. Perfect breakfast with Thai, European and some Chinese cuisine , good Sunset Restaurant on the beach. Wide rooms with transparent glass-covered shower and separate bathroom, nice SPA. Huge territory with beautiful tropical plants, flowers and two big awesome birds. Nice stuff, it was very clean every day. We had a good holiday rest in Sylvan hotel!

The hotel grounds are amazing, full of wildlife and nature (no spiders or snakes though). Breakfast was really good and had a great variety. The beach water was clean and the pools were nice. The biggest downside was the terrible soundproofing in the sea-view rooms on the hillside. We could clearly hear our neighbors talking and playing music all night. We called the reception several times, but nothing changed. In the end we just had to wait until they finished partying and went to sleep. The rooms are also a bit worn out. Some mold in places and the plumbing feels outdated. Location-wise, it’s quite inconvenient without a bike or car. The hotel shuttle runs rarely, and every ride to town on a songthaew costs about 50–70 baht per person, which becomes 2–3 times more expensive in the evening.
