This place really needs a facelift. Be careful walking on the deck with nails sticking out. When there are more than ten people for breakfast the kitchen can’t handle it and you have to wait one hour for your breakfast. There is not much choice for breakfast apart from toast egg, noodle and rice. The staff is really nice and does her best for you. The owner needs to invest in this place and it good be a great place.

Zeer mooi gelegen drijvend hotel. Vriendelijke mensen! Leuk aangekleed . That’s it. Goed voor 1 nacht om het eens gezien te hebben en om de rust eens te ervaren.

The Koh Andet Eco Lodge in Tatai is a 5-hour bus ride from Phnom Penh and a 25-minute boat ride to the lodge. The boat leaves from Tatai Bridge and the scenic journey was pleasant. Upon approaching the lodge, you first see the impressive floating villas, which made me feel that this was a special place. However, my positive first impressions suddenly disappeared when the welcome drink was a glass of water. My floating villa was at the end of the wooden walkway. It was spacious and well-designed with a ceiling and stand-up fan. The comfortable bed had a mosquito net. Outlets were far from the bed. The bathroom had an unusual shower which took them 2 days to fix the hot water heater. Also, I was never informed that there would be no water one morning because they had to fix the water pump. It was a surprise when I tried to take a shower and there wasn't any water. Shampoo and the soup were in little ceramic containers. There is a safe, but it was locked, and it also took them also 2 days to open. Coffee and tea are provided but no kettle. 2 plastic bottles of water were provided which aren't very eco-friendly. The view was spectacular but the chairs on the porch didn't have any cushions which was also seen on the deck chairs throughout the lodge. Even though it's a floating village and you could jump into the water, there was no way for you to get back up to your villa. One hour before I departed the owner installed a raft that you can use to get back onto the porch. Unknown to me, daily housekeeping is only available upon request. Even though I requested it on the 2nd day, it wasn't automatically done till the 3rd day. Additionally, they never found the key to my villa. There is one restaurant that serves overpriced food that is at best average. The menu is Asian and there isn't anything for kids except french fries ($6). No fruit is served at any meals. Breakfast is from a set menu that includes eggs, but the portions are small and not satisfying. No peanuts are served with your drinks, and they ran out of Singh Beer (served because it's close to Thailand) one day. It can take a long time for your food to be served. It might be hard to find a waiter during the day at the restaurant. Internet is only available in the restaurant vicinity and not in the rooms. It's not fast. One day, the owner forgot to pay for the internet, and it wasn't available the whole day. The lodge has a jungle-like magical feel with lots of greenery and trees, and both the tree and floating villas blend in perfectly with the environment. There are 2 places to swim but the wooden deck chairs have no cushions. A small waterfall is about a 20-minute walk from the restaurant, but I wish there was more signage on the way. It's definitely worth going to. There are a few safety issues at the lodge. First, at night the walkway to the floating villas is only lit halfway, so make sure you can use the torch on your phone. Secondly, the overhanging nets on the

We stayed three nights and to be honest it was two nights too many. Took hours to drive there and as soon as we arrived we thought uh oh. The location is stunning and from a distance the bungalows look idyllic but as soon as you arrive you just see rubbish floating and trapped in and around tattered buildings. The staff are nice but there is nothing other than kayaking. We had just come from kayaking on the Mekong so we thought we would do a trip to local waterfalls. They wanted to charge us over 50 dollars. We were not expecting to be charged so much for half a day. The food was expensive as well so we had to budget as there was no atms and the card machine didn’t work because the WiFi was so poor. We felt stranded and couldn’t wait to leave. Such a shame as the location surrounded by jungle is stunning but I wouldn’t bother travelling along such awful roads for hours to go there. There are soo many more places in Cambodia to check out. Save your money and time and chose a different place

The location was unique But the service was horrible, no reaction after your calls. Trying to sell drinks that were 4x the price you ordered. The breakfast was very, very poor When you asked for a bit more bread, you had to pay for it. The room wasn't cleaned, no refill of toiletpaper, even after you asked for it.

My husband and I stayed (sadly just) for one night at this lovely river hotel earlier this month. We loved it so much ... the fact that we got picked up "under the large bridge" with a boat transfer organized by the hotel, the owner was actually the boat himself, too - was so cool. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Once we got there we were excited to get comfortable in the rustic, yet beautiful floating room at night. Then you just step outside o not the small porch of your room, the warm river water is right there for you to take that morning swim (which we did the next morning before breakfast). I just wished we could have had at least 3 more nights there, to fully indulge in the peaceful surrounding and jungle sounds around us. What a beautiful and serene experience this place offers (from kayaking to boat trips into the jungle...). One can hear only water-sounds, birds, and howling monkeys from a distance when you wake up. Altogether we would definitely recommend Koh Andet Eco Resort to anyone traveling to this rather remote area within Cambodia.

This is such a beautiful tranquil place, wished we’d had longer. The rooms are simple but full of character and charm. Clean and comfortable. Staff are great especially Leng, the manager, and Sury who runs the bar/restaurant. Food is good, can take a little while to come if there are a lot of people, I think they are a bit understaffed. Also the bar can run out of things (tonic on our last night) so maybe a good idea to bring a few bits if there’s anything you can’t do without! We were in a sunset bungalow which was quiet (except boat traffic) and we were told in the sunrise bungalows you can hear music from local bars. We didn’t hear a thing in ours. Nothing is too much trouble for these people. Leng is very efficient and helpful. He picked us up from Hat Lek and arranged transport to Phnom Penh. Stay here if you can - you won’t regret it
