Happy Days Guest House

The room is basic, but comfortable and clean, and you get what you paid for. It has a good sized sleeping area with double bed and a wet room. The upstairs deluxe room has aircon, a veranda with hammock. There's hot water, pressure in the shower was poor. On the morning of my last day there was no water at all. Not sure if this was due to the water shortage. Wifi in the room was good. The location is good. There's a beautiful small beach across the road. And another about 10mins walk. Location was quiet. There's a restaurant on site and the prices are good. There's other restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, on the same stretch of road. Chris and his wife Cherry own the place and they are what make this place outstanding. They're friendly and helpful, and will make sure your stay with them goes well. If you book an organised transfer the taxi will drop you off at the accommodation once you get off the boat. You can then book your onward travel with them. I stayed 4 nights. I wasn't well when I arrived and Cherry made me a rice and veg soup with egg tofu saying it was good for my stomach. It was!
