The hotel is large and beautiful! It has a big pool and a long, gently sloping entrance to the sea. The concrete bridge is a bit of an eyesore, but that's a minor detail. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The staff were lovely, but there were so many geckos! A gecko even got into our room, and we couldn't get it out, so we had to sleep with it there for all three nights. That really annoyed me. Also, the hotel food was very expensive, small portions, and tasted just okay – definitely not worth the price. The breakfast mostly consisted of snacks, with not many main dishes, and only two Thai food options.

We stayed from April 11-13, 2069. I want to leave a review for anyone considering staying here, sharing my perspective on our experience in a family villa. What I'd like the hotel to improve… the staff's service. The front desk is the first point of contact for guests. We arrived as the only party, with no other guests. The staff checked us in, explained the information, and escorted us to our room, but they weren't very welcoming. Their tone of voice and demeanor made us feel unwelcome and that they were reluctant to serve. (We tried to tell ourselves it might just be the local custom). In the evening, we chose to eat at the hotel's beachfront restaurant. We ordered four dishes: seafood fried rice (which was good), pizza (decent, but no ketchup was provided – we had to ask for it), clear Tom Yum Goong soup (spicy enough, but the shrimp was tough and not fresh; we had to ask for a gel fuel burner to keep it warm, and there was no communal spoon. The staff stood by the service area, but when we called them, they ignored us, looking away and pretending not to hear, so we had to go and ask ourselves), and deep-fried barramundi with fish sauce (the inside of the fish wasn't cooked through. We asked for it to be re-fried, and it came back hard and burnt in some spots. We didn't complain further because we didn't want to feel worse). During check-out, we returned the key and waited for the staff for a while. They didn't say anything or inform us that they were having housekeeping check the room and would let us know once it was ready. There was no communication. So, we told them we were going to the restaurant and would be back for our ride at this spot. When we returned, our car had arrived, but there was no communication from the staff, and no "thank you" to the guests. (Perhaps it's because we're Thai and not foreign guests, so we received 3-star hotel service. I'm writing this because I want them to improve for future guests, as I don't think anyone wants to experience what we did. (On the way back, our car stopped to pick up guests from another hotel, and we saw staff standing there, seeing off guests and thanking them… which was completely different from Koh Kood Paradise. We paid 10,000 baht per night, and we understand the price during a festival, but the experience was not impressive at all.)… We plan to visit Koh Kood again, but we definitely won't be staying at Koh Kood Paradise. What we did find impressive here were the rooms and facilities, the private beachfront breakfast, and the beautiful sunset in the evening.

Accommodation is okay, and the food is excellent, but the beach isn't suitable for small children because it's very steep.

Amazing hotel with great grounds! They even have a shop on site. The photos really don't do it justice. I loved it, and I've been here before so I have something to compare it to. We'll definitely be back! The pool is good and breakfast is decent.

I really liked the hotel grounds. The bungalows are on stilts, there's a lot of greenery, and they clean and change towels every day. Every evening there's live music with Thai singers, which is really great. The downsides are the view on the beach (of a barge) and the food leaves a lot to be desired.

Simply an excellent hotel, but keep in mind it's on an island. The hotel has 30 bungalows and 44 rooms in the building near the entrance. We called it a 'dorm' after one of the bloggers. The hotel is located on a gorgeous beach with perfect sand and crystal-clear water. The grounds are beautiful and lush with greenery. There's a swimming pool (we don't use pools). Plenty of sun loungers are available. Most guests stay for only 1-2-3 nights, so loungers free up quickly. The staff are polite and try their best. Housekeeping is weak; the bed linen wasn't changed once in 4 nights. A squashed mosquito on the wall was left to greet new guests. In fact, all the walls had mosquito marks. Breakfast is from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. No queues, items are replenished promptly, and there are always free tables. The selection is small. There are tasty pasta dishes, egg dishes, a coffee machine, and a variety of juices. The reception provides free masks and snorkels for swimming. You can also take a boat for an hour for free.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! We stayed in a deluxe villa, second row from the sea. The sea was magnificent, especially before 3 PM, after which the tide started to go out. The breakfasts were average, but always fresh, and there was always plenty of everything. For dinner, we ate at the à la carte restaurant, and everything was delicious (we had read some negative reviews about the food)! Especially the grilled scallops, and the large mixed grilled seafood platter, which included fish baked in salt. The staff were a bit slow, but always tried their best to please you. As for the downsides, the WiFi simply didn't work, and there wasn't a single fruit shop within walking distance.

The hotel is located on the amazing Ao Tapao beach, with a gorgeous sea. We stayed in a room in the two-story building, just a couple of minutes from the beach. There are also bungalows, which are closer. The room was a bit worn but clean and spacious. We rented a motorbike from the hotel; it was also a bit tired, and there wasn't much choice. Given the elevation changes on the island's roads, we would have preferred something more reliable. The restaurant was decent, with live music in the evenings. Hello to Toby the parrot!

Nice beach. Friendly staff. Good live music in the evenings. They responded immediately to our request to clean the air conditioner. There are ants in the room though.

They have a swimming pool, beach, and restaurant at the resort. They have everything. If you would like to get around the island, you can book a taxi or rent a motorcycle(recommended).

Great location and spacious rooms. However, they don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, and the 11 AM checkout time is a bit early.
