Thanya Beach Resort

There were very few people when we arrived. The room was large, with a beach view and snorkeling. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The menu had no photos and was a little different from what we expected. The taste was OK. The price was acceptable.

The scenery is beautiful, and I live in an independent wooden house by the sea, but the facilities in the room are very simple, and the sanitation is also very general. It was very hot in the room during the day, and the air conditioner could not completely cool it down. There is a private beach and swimming pool. The swimming pool is not clean, but the children had a good time. The most surprising thing is that the hotel's private beach can be snorkeled in the sea, which is very fun. Meals can only be eaten in the hotel or the hotel next door. There are few choices and the taste is average. All in all, it is worth the price in terms of scenery, but it does not match the price in terms of facilities.

Thanya Hotel is perfect in every way. The bungalows are all one way or another with a sea view. The hotel has its own lake and monitor lizards live in it. Toucans are coming And the hotel has a beautiful flower garden. The only downside to the hotel is the breakfast. In such a large hotel, there is only one person who fries an omelette. So it's better to wake up earlier

Hvis man kan lide Lalandia med masser af dansker og børn er dette stedet. Hvis du vil have fred og ro så vælg Paradise Beach i stedet for. Stedet trænger til en opdatering. Vi havde en bungalow med hav udsigt men da der ikke var et tyndt gardin man kunne trække for, kan alle se ind i hytten med mindre man træk det store tunge gardin for. 😏 De hytter det ligger foran poolen, ligger meget tæt. Vælg evt. de bagerst værelser som ligger højt oppe hvis du ønsker mere privatliv. Morgenmaden og aftensmaden var god. Vi var der over en weekend og kl 8:00 var alle solstole optaget. Vandet er lækkert når der ikke er tidevand.

Everything was perfect again. Thunyathep had everything under control organizationally, and was always warm and very friendly. The team in the restaurant and the guys at the bar also did a great job. Thanks also to the chambermaids with their imaginative towel figures (elephants, swans, hearts). Everyone was always there to make our stay as pleasant as possible (including the gardeners and porters). A hotel that you don't find very often anymore. Close to nature, no concrete, good Thai food, quiet (not for party people)... If you can't relax here, it's your own fault. Thanks also to Madame Massage. We'll definitely be back.

This is the sixth time we have been to Thanya and we love this little piece of Thailand. Thunyathep and her great team make every stay a moment of happiness. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. While away the day on the beautiful beach and in the evening enjoy delicious cocktails at the cozy beach bar with good music and friendly bartenders. In between, you can enjoy relaxing massages in the beach pavilion. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff are simply friendly and exude good humor. You just feel completely at home. In your room, a freshly made bed awaits you every day with fresh towels, which the chambermaids lovingly and imaginatively drape every day. You can buy drinks, ice cream and snacks in the small shop. You shouldn't expect a luxury hotel here and if you need action, you've come to the wrong place. Here you will find authentic, original Thailand, which unfortunately isn't often found anymore.
