Sea Love Beach Bar & Bungalows

This is the most relaxing place by the sea I’ve been to. The bungalows are beautiful and very comfortable, only a few meters away from the restaurant, the pool and the spectacular beach. The food is simply delicious. The staff is very kind and always there to help. Thank you for the great stay!

We stayed in the bungalows that were beautifully crafted with lots of effort to detail . With Hammocks /beanbags outside your bungalow in a tranquil setting ,Beautiful views . Food is amazing , some reviews said more expensive but we found food high quality / presentation we didn’t feel that it was expensive . Best pad Thai I have had , they are eco friendly so don’t have plastic water bottles in room, but water dispenser located in reception you can refill bottle at any time . The staff and hosts were very friendly and welcoming at all times . One day I had appointment to get Nails painted at the next hotel 5 min walk along beach , as tide was in couldn’t walk the short distance , so the host took me on their scooter the long road way round very kind , nothing was too much trouble . Thank you !!

Delicious foods, good mood! The bread is fantastic, the toast bread was so boring after a week here on Koh phangan, but when I ordered the tuna sandwich it was fantastic. The quality of the foods extremely good. The prices are in mid range, so for two people two soups and two sandwiches around 900 baht. We will return!!!

For the whole time of our stay here we kept asking ourselves how people could actually rate this dump with five stars (which is how we got fooled and book a bungalow here!). The place is basically falling apart, the pics used on the internet have probably been taken when it first opened. I won’t go into details, I’ll let the photos speak for me. The bungalow we stayed, number 16, is considered “Deluxe”, not even standard. It was all the way to the back, next to the entrance of the resort by the parking lot. There was a window that could not even be open so you always had to keep the light on. The filthy bathroom had the safe box on the floor that had to be used as a step as the bathroom was on a lower lever than the rest of the bungalow. This is just to mention a couple of things. Customer service is something that people who run this place don’t even know how to spell. The air con unit in our bungalow was leaking and when we told them the answer was: “We don’t know when and if the guy can come to fix it, maybe tomorrow!”. The technicians came to look at it (they opened it and cleaned it) in the evening of the second day of our three days stay. We weren’t expecting a refund or a free meal, but a proper apology, or a complementary drink, while we were forced out of our bungalow for over one hour when they tried to fix the air con unit, would have been nice and appreciated. Anyway, even after the technicians looked at it the air con kept leaking so we had to spend three nights with the constant noise of a drop falling on a soaked towel on the floor. When we checked in there was a big sign saying “join our cooking classes, 500 THB!”. I asked for some details and the receptionist (who had the attitude of someone who was doing as a favor for being there) said: “We’ll see, because you need to choose what you want to do and I don’t even know if I’m free!” (No comment!). I could go on and on with my rant and list dozens of negative things about this place but I think I spent even too much time. My thumb up is only for the location (geographically speaking), this horrible place is walking distance from a few shops and restaurants and there’s a lovely beach right in front!! Overall we enjoyed our stay in Koh Phangan, but surely not in this resort,…. book somewhere else, don’t be fooled by the positive reviews (like we did!!), for the money they ask (being in Thailand) you can surely find proper luxury and customer service somewhere else!!

We wanted to stay on the beach, so expected to be a few more bugs than if you were anywhere else so I don't think it is fair to comment on that. We bungalows were on a lovely little beach, amazing sunsets. Food & drinks were really nice! We ate a few times, local to 711 and bike rental. I think if they just made the beds more comfy we would have loved it, but unfortunately they are really uncomfy and pillows are non existent also the cover was pointless (we asked for extra, think they went out to buy them which was great couldn't manage without , I usually use 3 pillows) Massage on the beach was great and we did love the service and vibes.
